I love this bar. I've been here quite a bit and have never had a bad experience. It's a nice family owned bar. The owner and his wife are really involved in making all their customers happy and go out of their way to make sure each guest is taken care of. It's a fun place to hang out, have some drinks (which are at a reasonable price), and dance to tejano music. If I were you I'd disregard the couple of bad comments on here because it's obviously from the same person who had nothing else better to do than hate on the owner ... probably because he got kicked out for being a dumb drunk. I'm jst saying. Check it out, enjoy yourself, and have a good ol time. The bar staff is great ... remember to take care of them and they'll take care of you.
Waited during a bathroom stock and check; to find no bath tissue was even stocked. Complained to manager, and later on went in to find they were still empty. Bartenders are nice, but they're not very attentive to their patrons. I understand the "wet" bar and tickets coming in for drinks, but they either need more bartenders or the current ones need more training. I don't know how the food is at this location, or the service time for a table, waitress, and placing an order. It is VERY crowded with lines at the lobby so I'm sure the wait is long.
I HAVE'NT BEEN TO ROXY FOR A WHILE .SO I RECENTLY WENT AND I HAD A GREAT TIME. STILL LIKE THE ATMOSPHERE. BARTENDERS ARE VERY WECOMING AND RESPECTFUL .THIS IS A NICE PLACE TO HANG OUT .BUT YOU GOT TO HAVE PATIENTS WITH THE BARTENDERS.WHEN YOUR WAITING TO ORDER YOUR DRINKS .WHO EVER SAID THAY THE SERVICE WAS BAD . WELL YOU DON' T HAVE ANY PATIENTS.PUT YOURSELF IN THERE POSITIONS.IT'S CROWDED AND THEY'LL GET TO YOU.BE NICE ,RESPECTFUL TO THE BARTENDERS AND DON'T FORGET TO TIP THEM ALSO.
