Established in 1977, Visible Changes is a unique collection of 17 salons throughout Texas, with a corporate headquarters based in Houston. Our training program is one of the most rigorous in the industry and education is ongoing throughout our stylist’s careers. Our salons feature state-of-the-art fixtures, touch screen computers, online booking and wireless internet access. In 1982 Visible Changes was recognized by Intercoiffure, an organization that extends its membership to only the finest hair salons in the world. Visible Changes was listed twice as one of INC Magazines’ fastest growing companies, and in 2006, Visible Changes won Salon Entrepreneur of the Year at the Global Salon Business Awards in Barcelona, Spain.

I'm not enjoying the DISCRIMINATION at…
I'm not enjoying the DISCRIMINATION at the la cantera location. They are supposed to be hair experts at every length and texture. They charge extra fees for hair deemed as "highly textured". I would like to know how they define highly texturized hair. The rates start at $50 just for a wash and style which is outrageous. I am a bi-racial individual. My hair is actually very easy to manage and of all the stylists i have had (at least 10 different ones) only ONE stood up to her manager and made a case of how ridiculous that is and started charging me normal rates ($30 for a wash and style+ $3-6 if you want a conditioner). So I am limited to one stylist if i want to save money; on the bright-side she is amazing!

Go see Jennifer Rocha!! I have been going to Jennifer since I was 17, now 25! From my first prom style to every day styles, advice on how to maintain healthy hair, she has always cuts my curly locks the best!! I don't easily trust people to cut my hair or style it, but I always trust her judgement and when I leave, I leave feeling the best I've ever felt everytime she cuts my hair!! I love visible changes! Sam does my color and prissy cuts my hair. They do a great job. There very nice and there skills really show in the work they do. They care about there clients and take there time making sure they get what you want done correctly. If you want to go there and are looking for someone I strongly recommend Sam for color and Prissy for a hair cut?

I've had my hair cut by Casey several times. Everytime I walk out with a cut its exactly how I wanted it, if not even better. She has always been very friendly and polite! I have never tried any other stylist and at this point I'm confident that I don't want too. She has been recommended to everyone I know, and I wouldn't recommend anyone else!

Nancy is my stylist, and is absolutely AMAZING!! I have been going to her for the past 3 years, and I will never go to another salon or stylist again! I have medium/long thick hair, which can be very hard to manage at times, but she has done an impeccable job at helping me maintain it and showing me techniques to use. She has done simple cuts to extreme up do's , and I always get compliments! I can come in with any idea of a style I want, and I will walk out with the exact same hair style! Overall, Visible Changes is extremely customer friendly, well organized, and very quick to get you in and out within a timely manner. I HIGHLY recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for a reasonably priced and professional hair salon!

Casey is the only person I'll let touch my hair at this point. She's great at everything she does, really friendly too! She has cut my hair multiple times and I've never been disappointed and I've never left unsatisfied. Casey Rocha is, by far and away, one of the most talented stylists that Visible Changes has. Getting a hair cut is usually just that, ..no big deal. While walking around La Cantera mall I stopped in Visible Changes to get a quick haircut, it was 20min to close. Out comes one of the most beautiful girl I have ever seen and greets me with the greatest smile.Vanessa W' as they call her is a fairly new stylist at Visible Changes and cuts like a seasoned pro. She really took her time and made sure I was happy with my cut. ..My hair looked GREAT! I will definitely be going back.

Ever since i have been delievering to La Cantera, I would just pass by the place. Well ond day while i was working i thought hey why not try this place out. Martin washed/cut my hair. Gave me the best haircut. Everyone was extremely friendly. great service. Ever since that day, i only go there. if you go ask for Martin. He's the only one i let touch my hair. Funny guy too.

Love this place!!! Ever since I moved to San Antonio (almost a year ago) I've been going to Tabitha and Love her! I've gone from mid length hair to extremely short hair and every time I go in she does an amazing job. I show her pictures talk a bit about what I want and she always seems to understand and cut it exactly how I want it. My whole family goes to this location to get our hair cut and we all love to go to Tabitha. If you're looking for an awesome place to get your hair cut or dyed I recommend this place. All the employees are extremely nice and welcoming. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

As new people to San Antonio, it took me while to have enough courage to make an appointment and get my hair cut. I was referred to Visible Changes and Samantha Patterson by one of my co-workers that I always love how her hair looks! I finally made the appointment and LOVED it! Samantha is wonderful, I am always greeted by all of the other employees and fully pampered! They call to remind you of the appointment (two thumbs up for this service!) and are always so courteous! I will continue to go in and have Samantha take care of my hair! She is awesome! Love everything about her and the entire place!

I have had the same hair dresser since 2003. Even after moving to San Antonio 4 years ago, I'd still make appointments with my hair dresser when I'd go visit my family. \r \r I was referred to several different hair stylist by co-workers and friends and was never able to find one that I would go back to. I have ethnic hair, curly & frizzy and all the hair stylist seemed afraid to cut. \r \r About a month ago, I came across a recommendation written on a post-it, given to me by a fellow co-worker, a year prior...it was for Prissy (for haircut) and Sam (colorist).\r \r I made an appointment with Prissy and was extremely satisfied with her work, which she takes very seriously. \r \r What stood out from any stylist/hair dresser I've been to is that she explained everything she was going to do before she did it and explained while she was styling as well. After she cut my hair, she then took the time to give me a step-by-step of HOW to get my curls to be uniform and less frizzy.... She even WROTE DOWN THE STEPS for me. \r \r I greatly appreciate the care she took to make my experience less nerve-racking. I'm looking forward to my appointment with Sam, colorist, in a few weeks. \r \r Thank you Prissy

i went to prissy over a year ago and loved my haircut. but, then i got a little busy from work etc, & then decided i wanted to grow my hair out... then i tried to cut it myself (bad idea), then i tried to give myself bangs (worse idea). i knew i needed to go back but for some reason i felt bad/guilty for not going to her in the first place so i went somewhere else to get it ""fixed"". i hated it even more. so i went back to prissy and she made it all better :) i will never go anywhere else to get my hair done ever! (unless she becomes employed elsewhere) ...i also will never cut my own hair again ;P

I was fed up with my long hair. I wanted it chopped off so I could be free from the weighted curls that were dried out and frizzy. Baby, military, and full time job lifestyle; I was begging myself for something easier and different. But I knew that I needed to pay more for a good quality hair cut and it was COMPLETELY worth it. ELENA was/is my hair stylist and I will say that, though I have never payed that much for a hair cut, I have since been back once and know that with my type of hair you need to pay a little more for to feel confident knowing its going to come out looking perfect. The thinning products and straightener work great that she recommended as well. If you are looking for a change and don't know where to start, or just want a good QUALITY haircut, Go to see Elena at La Cantera- Visible Changes. I needed a haircut fast and was able to get an appointment at Visible Changes right away. Bianca was my stylist, and listened to what I was wanting, taking in to account my being a ""not so young' woman with thinning hair. She gave me a great cut, and I continued to go back for more. Recently, she introduced me to a new product that has improved my ability to style my own hair at home, and have my hair appear fuller. Thank you BIANCA !!!!!!!
