The United States Post Office has a well-deserved reputation for terrible customer service. They continue to fail at delivering mail in a timely manner, and no one takes responsibility for fixing the problem. UPS, Fedex, and DHL all have demonstrated how delivering packages can be done, yet the USPS continues to fail. When they cease operations, I won't miss them, at all.
There's a big metal box with slots and doors. You get a key to open your door. In the corner at the bottom is one large door that no one has a key for. When u get a package they put the key to that big door in your locked box. When u open the big door with the key the key stays in the lock. You can't take it out. You take your package and the door remains open. Then the mailman takes the key out somehow and relocks the big door. 3 times in the past year the mail man has put the key in the wrong mailbox giving someone else the key with MY delivery in it!! Once was a $700 phone!!! Someone stole one of my deliveries!!! That is the post offices fault and they could find out who stole it quite easily!!! But no assist from the postman! He tried to say someone stole they key!! NO!! YOU GAVE IT TO THEM!!!!!
I was there with my 2 children to get passport renewed. When i got there the waiting room was completwly full. I've signed in and since paperwork wasn't completed and there was no place to sit and fill ot out i went outside to the counters where it was noone waiting in line to use the pen and the counter to write. Immidiately i was addressed not to fill out my form there i'm supposed to do it inside the waiting room. I just finished there thinking why is this a huge deal??? I entered the waiting room again and signs everywhere with idiotic messages like do not stand do not move chairs control your kids so on!!!!!! I didnt find place for 3 of us so i stood for a min the lady walking in right away telling me to go outside to stand or sit down cuz dont i see the signs there is absolutely no standing. I've found 1 chair and put my kids in my lap... Both of them. Waited there 1 hour still did not get called. The ladies especially one of them purposly moving slowly taking a min just to look at the clock on the wall and reaching for the sign in list to call the next person!!!! Unbelievably ignorant and rude to people whom ate waiting there hours!!!!! Well my daughter had to use the bathroom during our now 2 hour wait time....and there is no public bathroom to use!!!!!! Seriously??? It is absolutely ridicilous!!!!!! I walked to the nearest gas station to take them to the restroom! When i got back still took another hour...all together 3 hours to be my turn. Meanwhile i was shocked how people that have a tiny important question were treated by the staff. They ignored them walked by them not even looking at them saying their busy and so! There was a lady who was trying to figure out when would it be her turn approximetaly and for over 30 min noone would look at her!!!! When it came her turn she had to go get her disabled child from the car cuz they could not bring him in before time!!! That was her question the whole time to prepare the family to come in on time!!!! They just ignored her the whole time!!!!! I wanna know which human being is managing this post office????? It is 2014 for god's sake and you need to provide costumer service for a serious matter !!!! Keep it together people it's shameful how you can run this operation!!!!! Very very upsetting!
Showed up on a Saturday to get passports done.
there was a sign on door saying they only process
35 applicants a day. not only did i drive 40 minutes to get
there and 40 minutes to get back home but i don't think
i will be able to receive passport in time now
(last minute business trip). even with expedited
service. I don't know what the hour policies are but if the
passport website "a government agency" says you close
at 2 and your phone recording says you close at 2 you better
close at 2. Really just seems like the single person that works
there makes her own hours with no consideration to people
that get there beyond "HER" business hours.
Giving it 1 star but deserves 0 stars for the lack of service.
End of rant.
Waited for ever to be told you don't need to be here. Saturday service is awful one agent for 100's of customers. They have the wrong signs posted in the passport waiting area. No fighting or you'll be escorted out instead of if you haven't signed in you wont be attended too. Please have a valid Texas ID if you were not born in the U.S. Natrualization Cert is not enough. And did we forget to smile at this location?
