I used The Texas Tan services for two months. Angela is great and very helpful. She will go above and beyond to ensure customers are happy.
ROOM COMFORT: I didn't like that the rooms are not carpeted. It would be much more comfortable to get undressed if the rooms at least had an area rug or something similar. It is not comfortable to take my shoes and socks off and have to stand on the cold, dirty floor.
INDOOR TANNING CONTROLS: There is no appropriate safe tanning regulations. If I go in for the first time and have fair skin, I would be allowed to go on the tanning bed as long as I want, up to the maximum time. New clients may not be aware of the dangers of tanning beds and there is nobody there that will properly advice or regulate.
DETACHED OWNER: I had an issue one day and requested to speak to the manager, Mr. Benavides. Another staff member, Amber said it was IMPOSSIBLE to talk to him, as she was the one to handle EVERYTHING. She also stated that Mr. Benavides did not talk to customers. I insisted on speaking with the OWNER, she continued to refuse. I went to Texas Tan Facebook page and emailed the owner, Mr Benavides. He never returned my message. What kind of an owner will make himself unavailable to a paying customer that asks a few minutes of his time? Especially if it concerns his business? That is an owner that does NOT CARE.
