  I have gone into this store about 3 times total. Each time I swear I won't go back again.... I ended up going in there today because I was directly in the area, and my son is outgrowing his current size. I found only 6 pieces total that I thought were cute in his new size, & I noticed very quickly that all of them were overpriced. I have been to several kids resale shops in the past 3 years since having my son, and this place was the highest price of all of them. I only saw one pair of pants under $5, and it was faded black. The lowest price on the shirts was $4.99. Even for summer shirts, which I was surprised to fid were not on sale! The only sale the store was having was 20% of summer maternity clothes! Really?! No end of season blow out like the other children's retailers. No clearance items!?! Nothing!
  
  I narrowed my selection down to 4 items because I only wanted to spend $20. I get to the counter (with no line), and they heavy set check out lady ignores me even though she is only 3 feet away from me and I had set my stuff on the counter. After 2 minutes she asked if I was ready to check out. I said Yes and nodded. She didn't budge. Another minute later, someone comes in with 2 baskets of stuff to trade in, and the cashier helps take the items from her instead of helping me 1st. Finally, she did come over to ring me out after making a pit stop to talk to a co-worker!! Totally unacceptable and disappointing. I seriously considered walking out and leaving the clothes on the counter!! If I hadn't wanted the 2 shirts and pants for my son I would have. I will Mever be going back to that store again. Save your time and your money!! Overpriced and poor service!!!

  Very disappointed in this business.

  Very disappointed in this business. I have shopped here before and saw their jeans were at least $8.99, so i decided hey my son has about 12 pairs of really nice brand jeans I'll bring them in and see if they will give me $2.00 or $3.00 a piece for them. (That is still an over 100% mark up for them)
  
  Not the case at all! Went in and the lady handed me the stuff they didn't want and said ok well we decided to take a couple pair of jeans and a toy for $10. A couple to me in 2 at MOST 3. I asked to see the items they wanted to take. She said sure they are in the back. Came back with a bag of SIX jeans, Two hats (hidden in the jeans), and a toy. Really?!? That is a $1 an item and you lied to me about what you were taking. Needless to say I donated the items to a daycare instead and let them keep the toy. I will not shop there again or bring my child's clothes in, they are ripping people off. I mean really $9 for a pair of used jeans?!? Use the $10 off of $25 at JC Penny's instead!

  I very sorry you’re not happy with your experience at Sweet Repeats. Customer satisfaction is very important to us. Please understand, there are many factors that affect our buying process. The brand and condition are just a few of those factors. Bringing your clothing in bags results in wrinkles. The clothing must be hung and steamed before being sold. The employee's get paid hourly to do those things. Therefore not being ready to sell can result in a lower price. In addition, bringing in clothing in November means we are getting ready for our sales and markdowns for the holidays, giving us a smaller window of opportunity to sell those items at full price. Because the girls at the counter don't process clothing orders, it's reasonable that they wouldn't know what items the buyer selected at a glance. I can assure you the intention was not to lie or hide your items. Because we see thousands of items of clothing on a weekly basis, a customer not wanting to sell a few pair of jeans is not a going to upset us. We have no emotional attachment to clothing and it simply business for us. We respect your right to retain your items if you’re unhappy with our offer. I would invite anyone who has doubt to come visit our store. Our average price for jeans is 5.99. We have a great selection and thousands of satisfied customers. We are proudly celebrating 20yr. of service this year! You don't stay in business for 20yrs lying to and cheating your customers. Again, I 'm sorry your disappointed and hope you'll visit again.
