Delivery Fee is to SA not you.

They charge you for delivery but it means only to their store. They don't tell you this when you set up the delivery. They sell other people's items and end up charging you for delivery to San Antonio, but not your house. You might as well order it from the original company and save money, as they deliver it direct, unlike Sugar Plum Dreams. My wife was deceived. Luckily I have a truck and can move my own things, but this is poor business practice. If you say you're going to deliver something, you better, not charge two hundred dollars and tell me I have to pick it up further than the store is by myself.

San Antonio's Best Baby Boutique!!!

Up to date fashion for babies and children! Honestly, the BEST Customer Service I have ever had at a store, and I am picky! I recommend this Boutiques to all, whether is just to pick up a gift for someone or to create a baby registry for you new bundle of joy! The customer service is beyond excellent and everyone always has a smile on their face! They have everything including nursery decor, furniture, clothing, toys, books, bedding, top of the line stroller and car seats, and great essentials for mommy during pregnancy and post baby! I have been very thankful and pleased every time I walk in and out of their doors! One life long customer here! :)

Not impressed

A friend and I were in the area having lunch. I noticed the store Sugarplum Dreams and wanted to go see the children's items that they had. I'm a new mom and I get excited when I children's stores. When we walked in, I was very surprised that no one greeted us. We walked around a bit and no one asked if we needed any assistance. A lady came from the back as we walked by toward the back of the store, and she never said a word. My friend and I are African American professional women. Unfortunately we noticed that all of the Caucasian patrons who entered the store after us were greeted with a warm smile. Needless to say, we were appalled by what we witnessed. To be honest, the items in the store were nice, but over priced. I have been to a few lovely children's boutiques and didn't have to spend a crazy amount on money for my infant to look beautiful. The lack of customer service just made our experience even worse. I will give the store one star for presentation.

Sugarplum Dreams is my favorite place for baby gifts!

I just got the coolest baby gifts from Sugarplum Dreams that I had never seen before. They carry some really great swaddling blankets (that Camilla Alves was just seen in People Magazine wearing,) and the most adorable dress that I saw (also in People Magazine on Suri Cruise). I also bought the new Heelarious baby shoes that are the high heels for babies that were everyones fav at the baby shower for my friend who LOVES heels! I could have left there with 50 other things if I didn't have to contain myself, but I had a great time and bought the cutest things ever! The ladies there were very friendly even though the place was packed with people. It is my new hot spot for trendy baby gifts.

SO FABULOUS! GREAT BABY FURNITURE!
I loved buying my baby furniture from Sugarplum Dreams. They were so helpful to me in making my selection and guided me through the whole process, then provided me with the confirmation numbers before I left so that I knew that the furniture was on it's way. Unlike the last time that I ordered furniture that took months and never arrived from Just For Kids Furnishings. I later found out that JFKF hadn't even ordered it. Sugarplum Dreams was a delight and I was so glad to find them. They are not set up with a thousand pieces of furniture on the floor, so it is much more boutique style, but they can order exactly what you want, which is worth it. I would give them a A++++.

Sugarplum Dreams has the most adorable baby clothes and gifts I've ever seen! I went in on the recommendation of a friend to pick up a gift and had a hard time choosing from all the cute things! They wrapped it beautifully so I could just drop it off. I will definitely go back for all of my future baby needs.

Fabulous Baby Store! Super Friendly!
Amazing store full of unique, adorable items for babies and children of all ages. I was thrilled to find that San Antonio had a New York City type of baby store that I could find all types of luxuries in one spot without NYC prices! Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Gift wrapped all of my packages for free and carried them and my baby to the car for me in the rain. Unbelievable service I haven't found anywhere else in San Antonio for a lot more money. Try out this tucked away treasure. They are unassuming and really sweet. You'll be glad you did!

Best Boutique in Town
The store and staff are wonderful. I have never found such unique and special clothes and gifts; and such a wide variety too! I will be a lifelong customer! Even after my kiddos are grown I will continue to buy gifts for everyone I know.

Sugarplum Dreams is a great place to shop for your baby gear and furniture. Their baby registry is wonderful and they make shopping for your friends really easy so that you get the items that you love. They even delivered our gifts to the shower for all of our friends who couldn't come. Great customer service. Lots of cute accessories to decorate your nursery and they will give you good ideas for working within your budget. We picked out everything we needed but the diapers. I think that is the only thing they don't carry for kids, everything else is there-toys, games, books, clothing, furniture, etc. It's a great store.

CUTEST BABY STORE AND KINDEST PEOPLE EVER!

I so glad that a friend recommended Sugarplum Dreams after her wonderful experience there. I went in there not realizing that the store is HUGE and they offer everything but the baby diapers. The store owner, Ellen spent hours with me helping me design my nursery, putting it all together from top to bottom and figured out how to incorporate my own taste and furnishings so that it was a dream nursery come true. She worked within our budget and could not have been nicer, even giving me her cell phone number-which I have used, to call her if I had any questions. Our items came in much sooner than promised and we couldn't be more pleased. My husband even loved going in there because of the comfy chairs and the relaxing atmosphere. I cannot say enough nice things about the ladies who work there and the great service they provide in addition to the absolute cutest stuff you have ever seen in your life! What a treasure of a shop. It is nice that good old fashioned customer service still means something. I will go back and recommend it to everyone I know! If you are looking for nursery or baby items Sugarplum Dreams is the place to go! They also carry toys, shoes, bigger kids clothes, and lots of other great stuff.)

Cutest Store Ever!

This store is truly a dream come true! I found the softest, cutest, most adorable clothing and accessories. I was able to buy cooridnating gift sets for all my new mom friends. I have never seen grown women ooohh and ahhh more than I did when my gifts were unwrapped at they showers! I will continue to buy gifts from here from now on. The complimentary gift wrap was an unexpected bonus!

Sugarplum Dreams is truly a dream come true! My first experience was the day before my son's baptism. My house was full of out of town relatives, my washing machine broke and my son had thrown up on his blanket that I had planned on using for the baptism. I frantically ran in to find the nicest people - they found a replacement blanket, offered their washing machine and gave me flowers! Another time was when my daughter had to have a brown dress for her Thanksgiving Program the following day. I called - they had one and stayed late so I could pick it up after work. In addition to treating me like a queen, they truly cater to the children. My little princess is very picky (I don't know where she gets that from), they let her come in and try on clothes. They help her and make her feel special. They also do not let me buy something if they know she will hate it - we never have a clothes battle in the morning when we are getting dressed for school or church! The products are first class and are very reasonable priced. Besides getting dressy clothes, everyday play clothes, shoes, socks, and bows - I buy presents for showers and new babies. Last year at the beginning of school I bought 10 - 3 year old girl toys and 10 - 6 year old boy presents, had them wrapped and was ready for every birthday party all year. They were toys that had won ""toy of the year"" awards and each cost only $10-$15. The people who work at Sugarplum Dreams truly love children! I heard that they let the kids from the Ronald McDonald House come in a pick out the outfits that they wanted to wear for their style show - any they GAVE these kids the outfits! If you have children or need something for a child, Sugarplum Dreams can help you get exactly what you need! In this crazy and hectic world, treat yourself to a dream and visit this store. You will find you do not have to run all over town to get the things you need -- they have it all - just like in your dreams!

Snooty and Rude
I was appalled at the way I was treated today at this store. When I entered the staf were warm and welcoming. They directed me to the sale items. I found a few I liked (still overpriced for children's clothes), but I decided to splurge. When I asked the owner to wrap my item, she said I would have to pay to have it wrapped. Everyone always takes their gifts away from the shop wrapped, but because I bought clearance items she would not wrap it for free. I was told I would have to pay. I decided I would wrap it at home. The snooty owner proceeded to tell me how she was losing money off of this sale! I was treated as if I was stealing her items (I did not decide to mark the items 60 percent off) and as if my dollars were not valuable. I asked for a box and she said I would have to have to pay for it too. Needless to say, I will never go back to this overpriced snooty place.

We pride ourselves in exceeding customers expectations by offering complimentary gift wrap, deliveries, cookies for children, drinks, balloons and an extra friendly knowledgable staff to assist with every person that walks in the doors. We are grateful for each customer. As is typically our policy, final sale items that are on final clearance and priced as such and do not include complimentary gift wrapping because of the busy time period in which sales are occurring and the fact that the items are being sold well below cost. We offer a nominal $2 wrapping fee for our custom wrapping costs, organza wribbon and tissue. I am so sorry that we offended you and certainly was not the intent. Our mission is to take care of all of our customers so that they are 100% satisfied. We are a family owned business and take your concerns very much to heart.
