I worked with South Texas Memorials last year. At first Mark (owner) was so personable and caring. I placed my headstone order and a 6 month job turned into over a year. I called several times and always got the run around or they said they would call me back but never did.
The product I received was nice and well done. However, I had to work around his schedule. I had waited so long and then it was a hurried job because he was placing other stones in that cemetery on that day and he wasn’t willing to go back another day. I live out of town but moved some things around to be there that day. At that point I was so done with his poor customer service.
I’m not sure why some people get involved in businesses such as this one when they have no empathy. This (headstone) was the last thing I would do for my loved one.
I usually always recommend the family owned business but not South Texas Memorials. Not for this kind of occasion.
