Had gone right after the lunch rush with family and a brother that had just returned from serving in the service. He was in the mood for seafood and we were in that area. We had gone in a ordered a family combo of fish/fries/and something else w/drinks. The lady behind the counter told us that combo was for take out only. We looked around and there were maybe 4 tables with patrons. There are at least 25 tables in the restaurant. I asked if she could please make the exception and she said no. I don't remember her being pleasant about anything. We couldn't use a credit or debit card, they didn't take those. She said there was an ATM we could use but there was no sense in getting hooked up for card payments since there was an ATM. I don't mind paying cash but she could have been nicer.
This situation made me think about why I don't go there anymore. I had forgotten about my FIRST encounter with bad customer service there before. Same Lady, different experience. I believe it had happened a couple of years ago. Again, the card situation, but the fact that it was my first visit there and she was so impatient with me as I was trying to rush thru looking at the menu and she was just looking at me and wishing I would hurry up and so I just ordered whatever and I felt like I was holding up the line only THERE WAS NO LINE!!. ...
I couldn't believe I had forgotton about that but it was only until my family and I discussed our service there that I remembered about my first visit.
Like the saying goes......first time shame on you.....second time shame on me.......I will never go there and neither will my family..............Bad Service is not good.....but Repeated Bad Service is worse.
