    This shop is great!

    This shop is great! I regularly consign stuff with Second Home to both rotate stuff out of my home and make a little extra money from yard sale treasures. I all too often end up putting my earnings back into the store, however, because I love love their items; the store is always superbly designed! I also love the fact that they keep their inventory online and I can peek in on them even when I'm not able to stop by. The owners and staff are always professional, courteous, and most of all fair. They could give lessons on customer service to other retailers around town. Thanks, Second Home!

    Horrible experience.

    Horrible experience. The shop's owner contacted me via CL when I was selling some high quality decor. He wanted to meet at my office but failed to meet me despite my attempts to follow up. We agreed to prices over the phone before agreeing to meet.

    Ultimately I brought the items to his store. His employees had no receipt to give me (yet they run a consignment business?) and seemed annoyed that I even asked. They also could not pay me at the time like the owner assured me they would. Once the owner got back to me he offered me 30-40% less than he had previously agreed to.

    The store was clean, bright and well organized but I would NOT recommend selling anything on consignment, only sell if you get cash up front. Don't waste your time trying to meet up with this guy, he won't keep his word.

    Awesome Resale Shop

    This has got to be the best resale shop I've ever been to. They have beautiful furniture and their prices are great. You can tell they carry really good quality pieces. When you walk in you thnk it's all new. Most eveything is like in new condition. They have a lot of name brand pieces that were originally purchased from the higher end furniture stores here in San Antonio. Really neat!
