Red McCombs Toyota

San Antonio's biggest Toyota dealership is this city's biggest disappointment. I'm appalled by the magnitude of unprofessional behavior I have been subjected to at Red McComb's during my new car search these past weeks. After leaving an explicit description of exactly the car I was looking for through their online contact portal, I was emailed by Sunny Pakala, a snide smartypants salesman who was offensively aggressive in his sales tactics. Numerous times he made assertions that he later denied, despite email proof of his very words. When confronted with the truth, he ignored it. He also repeatedly pretended he "didn't understand" plain language but never even attempted to specify what needed clarification. In the process, he attempted to make you feel dumb for not speaking his suave sales dialect. At any rate, he ultimately made what seemed like a great offer on the car model I was looking for: a new, 2017 Camry LE. This had been discussed ad nauseam, thus there could have been no confusion about NEW car. Yet, upon reaching the dealership to finalize the deal, I encountered the vexing fact that this vehicle he was trying to sell had 3000 miles already. I felt deceived. Yet, Kenny Reyes, sales manager, arrogantly insisted this was a "new" car (simply because it hadn't been titled). He repeatedly called the deal on the table "ridiculous" and not once apologized for this glaring lie--rather accentuating the lie by pushing this technicality. Despite his haughty, snobby arrogance toward my wife and I, we tolerated his impetuous attitude and tried to continue negotiations on this car and other options. However, he grew increasingly insulting like a schoolyard bully so we had not choice but to leave. Lies, arrogance, insolence, unapologetic chicanery. Avoid at all costs.

A previous good experience caused me to visit Red McCombs Toyota for my next purchase. My sales consultant, Arsalan Doraji, was personable and extremely easy to work with. I have never had a sales experience both easy and pleasurable before this event. Arsalan Doraji took time, and without pressure, built a strong relationship, which was the catalyst for me walking out with a 2015 Toyota Camry.

Red McCombs Toyota is best dealership ever, I had the best time speaking with Arsalan. He was the best and made me feel very comfortable.

I did not receive everything I paid for. So I contacted customer service.After I went back on the following Saturday to get fixed everything you guys didnt do, I faced a different problem. You guys gave me my car back with a dent and scratch on it. I know you guys receive hundreds of cars every day but there is no reason to not have the care or urgency to treat someones property with respect. I had washed my car 4 days before coming and it is also driven only 3 times a week, so you better believe I was insulted when your manager said my car was filthy and completely covered in dirt and that the dent/scratch was already there. I know that the dent and scratch was not there as I take much care of this car. I see my wife come home every day dripping in sweat after a hard day at work, just so she can finish paying this car off. And for you guys not to at least respect the property and still manage to insult us by calling the car filthy is just disrespectful

Dealing with a salesman, I expected that I was going to be misunderstood and taken advantage of; Brian did the complete opposite. He took his time with me (from 3 PM-9 PM) and was very patient while I made my decisions. He matched me to the perfect vehicle; A 2014 Toyota Corolla. Which I really didn't think I was going to, but I love it! It has everything I wanted and best of all I can afford it.

Sold me a wrecked truck. Appeared on carfax after 6 months. Passed through certification they say and i'm out thousands for diminished value. Yet setting appointments to continue to fix alignments. Can't recommend.

Before moving to Texas, I would always buy cars from private owners because they are not selling cars to pay the bills and dealerships are. But Red McCombs Ford and Toyota have both given me great deals on two vehicles since moving here. Service at R. M. Toyota goes way above and beyond. When a second key fob didn't work on my used car, I was told the other one probably just needs a battery. A new battery didn't fix it. Sales told me the one working fob was the deal, but they would look for a similar fob to be turned in and then I would just pay to have it programmed for my car. After a month I went there to see for myself if a similar fob was turned in. The parts manager took the fob and said he'll see what he can find. After 20 minutes I sat down at a table. Soon after the manager came to me and dropped a new fob on the table. I thought, "Great, now I have to spend $100+ for this." He said, "There you go, have a nice day. No charge." I couldn't believe it. In my mind, you can't do better then Red McCombs Toyota, or Red McCombs Ford.

If you want great service with quick responses you need to see Abel Rosenberg in the used car lot. He made my deal happen in less then a few hours and was very helpful with every question I had. After Abel helps you out, go see Brian Hamm which was extremely helpful in the finance portion of the deal. You see these two guys and you are sure to come home with a great deal.

I shopped and shopped and Ronnie Torres with the Internet Department was awesome he could not have made it easier. He was nice to my family and explained everything. I have met other salesman and no one could even compare. Their Management was very respectful and took care of my family and I. Thank You Guys!
