I had applied at this clinic to work and I got hired and after one day I was uncomfortable for some odd reason, the clinic is ran down dirty and has a lot of clutter, well I do not do the right thing I texted the office manager and told her its not worth the drive or my time!!! I should of went in and talked instead of texting my fault but I got a text back saying F*** off and I had until 5 to bring back the key or they were going to call my husbands CO!!! They truly do not know who my husband is and what he does in the United States Army they should not of even bothered to bring my husband into it!!! He wants to have a nice chat with the owners of this practice!!! You don't treat people like that well I had a friend go with me down to the clinic to drop the key off she walked the key up to the door and the Vet opened the door she handed him the key and he said to my friend good ridins and she was a loser!!! He thought it was me well now since he said that to her instead of me she is telling everyone not to go to that clinic!!! It's a shame!! Now I know why I was uncomfortable there!!! I still have the nasty texts message and care share them so people will see how they treat people!!!!
I have been a client of Pleasanton Road Animal Hospital since they opened and I never have been disappointed with their service or medical care. They saved our little dog, Tiny ,from Parvo by hospitalizing him for 5 days. Their estimates have have always been fair and accurate. I really appreciated the follow-up call to check on Tiny after he went home.

My little puppy Chula escaped from our son's hands and ran into the path of a vehicle. We rushed Chula to Pleasanton Road Animal Hospital even though it was near closing time. The receptionist greeted me as she saw my panicked look and quickly saw that my puppy was injured. Soothing me and quickly escorting me into a room, she had the technician stay with me while she got the doctor. Although Chula was not injured as bad as I first imagined (she had a broken leg and road rash), I was given an estimate for her treatment that would have cost me probably triple had I gone to an animal emergency room instead. Even though we were there after closing, the staff was very kind to our family and we now use them from everything to yearly shots to boarding when we go on vacation. I know that Chula will be taken care of and she loves going there despite the fact that her first impression was a painful one. I WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE.
I took my cat in for an injury and the doctor whose name begins with a P has absolutely NO bedside manner. I got the distinct impression he was trying to rip me off and take advantage of the fact that I love my pet. In fact, he quoted me one price for surgery, then jacked it up considerably. The female technician also is insensitive and neither she nor the doctor bothered to introduce themselves or offered me any reassurance or comfort. In fact, I was so distraught I considered euthanizing my love and the doctor said: You want to do it now or later? At no time, did he offer hope or try to emphathize with me over my cats broken foot. In fact, after I paid 110 dollars for the x rays and office visit, the clerk didnt even thank me for the visit. NO WAY WILL I GO BACK. There are other vets in San Antonio. DONT GO TO THIS ANIMAL HOSPITAL.THOSE PPL ARE CROOKS WHO TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU FINANCIALLY AND EMOTIONALLY.
This person came across as a very uncaring pet owner. When I presented her with an estimate for treatment, her only question was "How much to put her to sleep?" Most pet owners consider euthanasia only as a last resort. We gave her a fair and honest estimate for her pet, and we did not "jack" up the price as she claims. I am glad that she will not be back since her cold and uncaring attitude is not welcome here. We prefer owners who really care about their pets.
