Our waitress quit paying attention to our party of 3 as soon as a larger party came in. They brought us one small bowl of salsa and one small bowl of chips for the three of us, and it needed to be refilled several times. The food was way overpriced for the quality and our orders were not correct, but we didn't risk sending anything back. I had to get up both times to get our drinks refilled as well. We were so hungry from walking around the Riverwalk all evening, and wanted to eat somewhere less busy. We wished we would have went to Chipotle or even Taco Bell instead!

This used to be our favorite restaurant in San Antonio Texas. On 7/8/12 we took 13 family members to eat there. We bragged and built up the restaurant that we have been to everytime we visit San Antonio for the past 18 years. We were completely embarrassed by the service, the huge increase in price and total fail on food quality. Never again! Our ticket was wrong 5 times, the fajita chicken was extremely dry and again very overpriced! $9 for 9 regular sized nachos with bean and cheese...what a rip off! Never again!!!

This restaurant is located near an area where significant numbers of homeless people congregate and live. Were approached twice between parking lot and restaurant. Restaurant posted large signs regarding towing and that they are not responsible for stolen items from car. After lunch with my vendors, I briefly left restaurant in one of the other contractor's car to visit a job site (we had 4 cars) When I returned the restaurant had towed my car. It appears that the restaurant spends more money monitoring and maintaining the parking lot than they do in preparing food or cleaning the bathroom. I guess that tells you where their priorities lie. No security to protect your car but plenty of eyes on the lookout for a towing/revenue opportunity. Anyway my recommendation is to avoid this restaurant.
Don't go near this place. They may or may not tow your vehicle. I parked there for lunch with someone. The party I was meeting was not there yet (before 11 AM) so I went across the street to an ATM machine in the courthouse. Upon my return I was greeted by a snickering moron who said he towed my car since I was not eating there. I advised him that I was going to eat there when my party arrived. He said I would have to go to the tow service for may car anyway. It cost over $250 and need I say I did not eat there or never will. Can you be sure that it will be there when you come out? It may or may not be. The tow service tows vehicles without speaking to anyone and gives a kickback to the restaurant. The manager of the restaurant could have cared less and said what they do is out of her control. Diner beware. This is not customer service. This is just plain greed. They make more on a tow then on a dining patron.

I saw them tow this guys car. The tow service guy was hiding in the bushes laughing. I will never ever go there again. These people also own Mi Tiera, forget it. I am done with all of them. This is how they treat their patrons. I heard that they get kick-backs from the towing service. There are plenty of other places to eat in SA.

I went there to meet someone for lunch. They were not there yet so went across the street to find an ATM. Upon my return 5 minutes later to wait for my party, they towed my car. Don't go near there. They may tow your car regardless of whether you are eating there or not. Needles to say it is not worth the +$250 charge for towing which they could care less about.
Food, drinks, service, everything is worthy of 5 stars. Really fun place to go for dinner, lunch, or just drinks. And affordable!!
this resturant has the best margaritas ever
You have to eat at Pico de Gallo, they offer an excellent authenic Mexican cuisine and great atmosphere.

Not your most authentic mexican food, but it can pass. If you have out of town guest for business, then take them here. It's in the heart of downtown and has easy access to all the tourist spots of SA. But if you are entertaining family and friends that want really good food this isnt' the spot, plus it's kind of pricey.

I will never go back. I had a bad experance there the food was just OK,really nothing special. Music was way out of control they kept playing louder an louder even when ask to go away they did not. Manager could not do any thing about it. Waiters were very good and the Tortillas were very hard .

This place is fantastic. I held my rehearsal dinner here and it was both wicked cheap and super yummy. I had a large crowd (30+) and a lot of out-of-towners unfamiliar with Mexican food and culture. I think they were more impressed with this dinner than with our actual wedding! The mariachis are great. In addition, the restaurant is great with a smaller group (have dined with groups of 6 - 12 several times in the past). Occasionally the service is spotty, but only when they are really really busy. In particular, I love their steak options as well as the enchiladas and the sopapillas are to die for.

To start we couldn't get any service dispite the 15 waitors standing around doing nothing but avoiding eye contact. The men left ALL of the service to the two girls. We had to send our margaritas back, they tasted like floor cleaner. The next round was just as bad. When our food arrived we were surprised that the ""home made"" tortillas were so hard you could knocking sound on the table with them. My enchilada was rock hard and I couldn't cut it with my fork or knife. The one item that was soft was my cripy taco! The corn tortilla shell was soggy beyond belief. I was disgusted and embarassed that I brought my friend here. I will never eat there again, and I will tell everyone not to waste their money there. There are so many other great Mexican restauarants in SA.
