Good Place to recycle kids clothes

I'm all about reduce-reuse-and-recycle. Where can i take these out-grown kids clothes? They took some, but I spent more than my credit on ""new"" old stuff. The staff seemed annoyed that I was bringing more stuff, and they rejected most of it. I had already sorted out the worn out and stained stuff, but they said a lot of it was rejected because of stains. I took in 4 large bags, and they took only 3 things. Oh, well, at least I tried. Kids shoes were the best deal.

I love this store!

I love this store! Always go there and sell and buy stuff with what I sold! Only negative thing I would say is that they need to stay open until at least 9 on the weekends.

TOO EXPENSIVE!

All the items I looked at today were too high!! I have been to several resale stores and they are very overpriced...Many items that I was interested in were OUT OF MY REACH and I could not get anyone to help me with them...so I left. Thanks for saving me some money.

Nothing Special

This is a big store with a lot of stuff. Unfortunately most of it was not very nice. I spent about 30 minutes looking through the racks for my two kids and found only one thing that I kind of liked. The rest of the stuff was either faded, fuzzy or just looked old. The pricing seemed a little high for the quality of the product as well. I really felt like I wasted my time. I will probably try them again sometime and hope the experience is better.

Great Store Great Selection!

By far the nicest resale shop in San Antonio! The store is always clean, employees are friendly, and the prices are awesome!!! You can tell by looking at the selection and they only choose the very best pieces of clothing because it looks impecable. A+++ Store!!!

Never been an experience of mine

I have been a customer there for over a year now and I have never seen or heard anyone being rude at Once Upon A Child. They are always the nicest and most helpful group of employees and always entertain my kids so I can shop. Maybe they were having a sale (when they don't accept buys) or something else happened. Not sure but I have never had a bad experience there. Awesome stuff at awesome prices. Great store! I will definitely shop there before anywhere else.

Love it

I love it and I have been going to sweet repeats and kids junction for alittle over a year and Once upon a child is by far my favorite. I have sold and bought there and although I feel I could have gotten more for what I brought in it was more than I would have normally got by donating or giving away. There store is clean and the clothes are easy to go through plus they have a good selection. The reason I like them the most is because the prices on clothes are more reasonable than the other stores. I think the toys are alittle high but I feel that way about all the stores. If I can go to walmart and target and buy a outfit bran new for the same price these resale shops are selling them for then there is a problem and I feel that way alot at sweet repeats and kids junction.

I go to the one off Thousand oaks and love it!

OFF TO A BAD START!!

this place has been open for just a short time and already they share the attitude of kids junction and sweet repeats. but unlike the ladies at the other two stores the rudeness at this one actually greets you at the door! i dont exactly know what gave them the impression that i was there to sell but the first thing out of the employees mouth was "we're not taking anything right now!" i promptly told her i was there to shop but that left a bad taste in my mouth. needless to say after looking around for less than 5 minutes and feeling ultra uncomfortable i decided to be on my way, empty handed. i would avoid this place.
