The teachers really do care about your children! They encourage them to do things on their own and to clean up after themselves. It’s been a perfect fit for my toddler who is very independent and for my infant for loves his sweet care takers.

Disappointed My husband and I...

Disappointed
My husband and I have been displeased with the quality of our son's care at this school. Once we found another child wearing his clothes, another time his sippy cup went untouched all day. Regularly we found him with food all over his face and clothes, and his diaper full. In the 4 months attended, there was a lot of turnover with both teachers and teaching assistants (2 teachers and 3 assistants), and no communication about the changes from the school. In fact, it was 2 weeks before we knew our son's teacher no longer worked there (there is an aide present when we drop him off and pick him up). We ended up having to call the school to ask about his teacher because when we went to pick him up, the aide was also new. The school did a poor job of communicating with us regarding what our son did during the day (ie how he slept, what he worked on, how he ate). The information we were able to get separately from his teacher and teacher's aide were rarely consistent. When asked if we could get occasional reports on our son's activities during the week, we were told that wasn't "Montessori". When my son stopped attending, we were informed by the head of the school that his teacher was unable to work with him because he only attended 2 full days a week (he is 2 years old and my husband stays at home with him). I wish we had known that from the beginning; we would have chosen a school that was willing to teach our child on a 2 days/week schedule. We are seeking educational enrichment for our son to break up the time he stays at home, not a drop-off daycare. All in all, disappointed with our experience; it was not at all what was presented to us when we met the teachers and toured the school.

We have had the wonderful pleasure of being a Montessori Children's House Family for over 4 years. The amount of care and genuine love every member of the staff shows immediately. The empathy that every student possesses from the all around education of teachers and parents is unfounded.

I'm a former high school teacher and really did my research into where I would send my daughter when she was a year old and fell in love with the school as soon as I walked in. Now she is at a private school for kindergarten, where she tested to be in 1st grade, and we were just told she will be in the accelerated reader and enrichment (GT) program. I firmly believe in all of the work that is performed in those walls.

I am a fairly new parent but wanted to write this review as a thank you to this awesome school. The difference from her previous school is night and day. All the teachers have been at the school for many years and it feels like a family. We are very happy and grateful we made this decision.

We've been sending our three-year old here since the beginning of the year. He has grown by leaps and bounds. He is a different kid and thrives under the guidance of Mrs. Ynoli and Ms. Elizabeth. We cant say enough positive things about this school.

Excellent school and staff! My son not only knows reading, writing and math he also knows geography and manners! I couldn't be happier with my choice to send him here!

Very Happy

My wife and I are extremely pleased with the education our daughter received from Montessori Earth School. We love the fact that the students are multi-cultural and learn more than just the 3 R's - they learn music, dance, and culture. Even though the school building is not the most eye-pleasing, we found that the students come from well-to-do families: many of them doctors, nurses and USAA employees. My daughter never complained about the school in the two years she attended.
