Mesa Vista Inn Health Center

I use to work for Mesa Vista, but I had to quit because they ALWAYS had us working short staffed in the C.N.A. department. When I say short I mean 2 C.N.A's for 45 to 50 people, and the Director of Nurse and the Administrator would know all about it. After I resigned from Mesa Vista they started accusing me of stealing medical supplies, and on top of that I called the Regional manager for Mesa Vista to let her know how the place is being ran and she went of the defense as if I was talking about her personally( Ms. Karen Mc Quay). She wasn't interested at all in how the patient's are being cared for. They need a new D.O.N, Administrator, and Regional manager cause they don't Care about the patient's at all. They Know I'm Right To. Yours Truly. RUBEN. I would give them 0 star rating if it was possible.

I placed my mom at that nursing home and I fell in love with the staff they were all great to my mom they went above and beyond to take care of her. She is on hospice and was there for respite care which means she was only there for five days. But I recommend a place to everyone that I know that is on hospice. I have placed my mother in different locations but she has never had the best care other than Mesa Vista. So thank you Mesa Vista staff for taking good care of my mom and having her participate in a lot of activities during her five days stay. Patricia G

My grandma was set to transfer to Powerback rehab upon discharge of the hospital but the case manager dropped the ball. A referral was sent in to Mesa Vista, and after seeing the terrible reviews all over the Internet, I raised all the hell I could but no other facility had any open beds. Our family couldn't have been more shocked at the outcome at Mesa Vista. The facility was very quiet, which worried us at first, but it worked in the best interest of my grandmother. From the moment she arrived, the facility was beautiful. Her private room was already setup. Her nursing staff has been extremely attentive. My grandma has a soft food died and when the facility didn't have strawberry Ensure stocked, they actually went out to purchase it and put it in the fridge in her room!!! By and large, God had a better plan for us and it worked out better than we could have ever hoped. She's been very happy and comfortable there. THANK YOU MESA VISTA for taking such great care of her during her stay!

Nurses are TOTALY clueless about their jobs,blonde night nurse really needs to get a clue. Your family member is better off somewhere else!

DON"T SEND YOUR LOVED ONES TO MESA VISTA. In the 2 weeks my aunt was there I received numerous phone calls from my aunt for help because the staff would not respond to her calls using the red button. I had to literally go to the nursing home or call the main number so that she could get help and numerous time they were rough in handling her as she as a fractured back, after we complained on deaf ears they accused my Mexican American elderly aunt and former inner city teacher of being a racist against blacks. Half the staff are black. My aunt was deeply offended by this accusation. The last straw was the stench of sewage coming from her room the Director of Nursing acknowledge it but did nothing about it. I finally had to take her out and she is very pleased with Huebner Creek, and no I do not work at Huebner Creek or have any vested interest in it. BTW after numerous calls to the Mesa Vista Administration, no one called any of our family members back. I am in the process of making a formal complaint to Dept of Aging.

DON'T DO IT!!!!!!! I wouldn't send a three legged dog there. Unattentive as a whole and antiquated equipment! Do not send loved ones there unless you want to get rid of them. My loved one was rushed to the emergency room three times in a nine day period! There are a couple of good nurses that risk their reputation being there. The therapy team is good if you are strong enough to get to them after being mistreated. Falls and more falls keep EMTs paid! DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!
