Lanese Cosmetic and Family Dentistry

Dr. McCabe is by far one of the best I've been to in my lifetime. He is very gental, takes his time with you, and ensures you are comfortable. I've read some of the reviews about his staff however I'm not sure if they are still employees. They are great, as far a stating they are rude because you could not get an estimate over the phone..... I'm sure there's more to the story. They are always very helpful and willing to go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Some friendlier than others however I think it's their personality just who they are. I understand being that as I am a very shy person at first, I would strongly recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist in the SA area. I see him at the Pontraco location. I have had the pleasure of coming to this dental office for over 3 years now and I have nothing but great things to say about both Dr. McCabe and Dr. Lanese as well as the staff. When I come in the office or I call they know me and call me by name! They make me feel like family. I was one of those people that hates going to the dentist and was really nervous at my first visit. Never did they make me feel embarrased or ashamed. They were compassionate, gave me a dental plan and have helped me accomplish a lot of the dental work I have needed over the past three years. Recently I was having some severe pain and when I told Rhonda the specialist they referred me to couldn't get me in for a couple of weeks she said "let me see what I can do." Within a few minutes she had called me back letting me know that Dr. Lanese would fit me right in. Dr McCabe and Dr. Lanese work together to take care of their patients. I feel like at times that Rhonda is my voice and has my back. She lets me know that she cares and I know she is doing what it takes to keep the patients happy and pain free. They will be my dental office for many years to come!! I would recommend them to anyone!! Also...if you're nervous about seeing the dentist, don't be with Dr. McCabe and Dr. Lanese! They always make sure your visits are pain free!!

Can't believe your comment!! I had nothing but helpful and caring response from this office. I believe it all depends on a persons attitude when they call. If you've had a bad day, don't take it out on someone else. Some people just are never satisfied.

My husband and I have been coming here for more than 3 years and are extremely happy with the entire staff. Rhonda is a professional and courteous office manager. Anytime we call the office, regardless of who we talk to, Angie, Jessica, Summer or some of the newer staff members, we are greeted with professionalism and our individual needs are met. Both Dr McCabe and Lanese are extremely knowledgeable and caring. I would recommend them to all my friends who live in this area. I was very disturbed to read negative reviews. It is my experience when people lash out at people they don't know, there generally is something else going on in there personal lives to make them angry at the whole world.

Don't bother.....the receptionist is rude and not willing to listen. I tried to get an appointment with one of the doctors there for my son who was referred to them by his regular dentist and she was unwilling to even give me the full name of the doctor that would be seeing him so that I could give it to his insurance company. I don't know how the dentists are because I couldn't even make it past the front desk. I would NOT recommend them to anyone - friend or foe!

We have been going to this dentist for the past 2 years after our other dentist dropped our dental insurance. We have our 6 month cleanings with our three young daughters, 5, 3, and 2 years old. They schedule us all the same morning, so we can all go together. It helps decrease the children's anxiety after they see daddy getting his teeth cleaned first. The hygienest is very good with the girls. We have also had a couple of fillings done. They were able to get us in quickly and the cost was reasonable. I would recommend this dentist for routein dental care.

I just called this dental clinic to inquire about fees to get my son an initial exam, we just moved here and military does not cover dental for dependants and Rhonda the receptionist was very rude. It is hard enough to have to call and ask how much services are going to cost but she did not have to make me feel so inadequate. Unfortunately these days we have to keep an eye on our books and I do not want deny my child care but I do want to make sure I know how much things are going to cost. Because she was rude over the phone I will not even consider going to this dental clinic, she should have handled the phone call with more sensitivity and understanding.
