Maar's Pizza & More

It was very delicious!! I ordered the chicken parmesan and I loved it. It was a bit much for me to finish but it was great for a late night snack. My husband got the spaghetti bake and ordered meatballs on the side, that was also very good. You have to try the stuffed mushrooms, those were my fave!!

I don't get it!

I've had several people rant and rave about this place finally went with a group and got a pizza and a "family" salad, So the salad comes in a bowl and you get plates for your salad and knife and forks however NO Salad spoon or fork what are you supposed to use your hands? so I asked for a utensil of some kind and was told they didn't have any. so later that night needless to say 3 people out of 5 got food poisoning will NEVER go back!

Whats so amazing? The fact that u can order anything and you will love it.... But the absolute best secret here is the BBQ brisket pizza to die for. Its not an every day order but once a month its the best. Also try the alien fingers..

Finally! We have an actual pizza joint in San Antonio! Best pizza hands down! I've been waiting for this for so long! Toppings are loaded, flavor is amazing! Service is awesome and owner is down to earth and friendly! Love it be back every chance I get! Try the stuffed mushrooms as well! Mmmm mmm mmm!

Ok I was very impressed on how quickly we got a table. How quickly we were greeted. Above all we were impressed on the size of the pizza and the taste..It was great! I personally think Maars is better than big lous....By Far.. And yes, I was a regular at big lous for a couple of years. Im going to be a loyal customer to Maars frm now on... You cant beat great food and great customer service!!!

dont know this family so I am not reviewing on their behalf and Yes I have been to Big Lou's no offense but who hasnt? And yes their food is great, however not only is MAAR's better but the service is way better as well! I live across the street right in front of St. Helena's and in our neighborhood everyone and i mean EVERYONE is raving!!!! I'm not going to lie the mushrooms a little too salty for my taste but every great restaurant is bound to have one flaw! Met the owners amazing, down to earth people going to keep spreading the word for ya'll! Keep doing ya'll! God will keep blessing ya'll just know you cant always please everyone!

highly recommend maars pizza it was fresh and not greasy and very filling we had ordered a 20 inch and the young lady that was taking our order advised about how big the pizzas really are so we went with the 16 it was three of us and we got super full and still had pizza left over so if your looking for great pizza maars is the place

Went to MAAR's last night with my family and friends and the food and service were great! I highly reccommend MAAR's to everyone. We had pizza and fried mushrooms and LOVED them! It's the BEST!

Wow were we impressed! We brought our whole family to the grand opening & were greeted by everyone. The service was friendly & the food was great! The prices are incredible for that amount of food you get. Everyone brought home left overs! We went back just the other day & were greeted by the owners again! We saw them taking to everyone making sure all was ok. Again, we got so much more food to take home & the bill was less than we expected. Great deal! My friends have gone & they like irt too

I have no clue where to begin! From the moment my family and I walked in t the moment my family and I left we were greeted with nothing but absolutely amazing service. The owners took it upon themselves to greet each table individually and put forth effort to build bonds with the customers. For as long as MAARS stays open I will be a frequent attendant! The food was not terribly greasy. The employees were neat and got the food out in a timly manner. I was never greeted with a tone of rudeness. The main focus of this restaurant is FAMILY and I believe this is the first restaurant that has been able to meet the expectations of a family oriented restaurant. Compared to the ownership before the restaurant is much cleaner and I am not concerned about contaminents in the food or environment. Overall amazing experience and that is just an understatement. Words cannot justify what my family and I felt! Amazing restaurant

Where to start!? When we walked in we were immediately greeted by near-by employees. We got a table and the staff gave out positive vibes and very charismatic. Our waiter accomodated us to the best. The food is really out of this world. You can taste the uniqueness of the pizza. i ordered the solar meat pizza, which is super amazing! Appetizers came out quickly and the salads tasted fresh. Even the owner came around and about asking us for our opinions and making sure we were satisfied. You can feel the family oriented vibe and I will definately go back for more

TERRIBLE SERVICE !!! WAITED OVER AN HOUR FOR A PIZZA .....WAITRESS SAID THEY SCREWED UP OUR ORDER ???? WAITED ANOTHER 15 MINUTES AND LEFT....WITHOUT THE PIZZA........THE EMPLOYEES COULD HAVE CARED LESS......I WILL NEVER GO BACK !!!

Me and my family live around the neighborhood and love pizza! We kept seeing the sign "MAAR's Pizza Coming Soon" and were so anxious to try it....finally it opened!!! Boy was it amazing!!! the pizza is the best I have ever tried! Even the home battered fried mushrooms!!!!! everything is homemade and the atmosphere is unique!! I love love loved it!!! The customer service was outstanding and you can tell the family that owns it deffinatley takes pride in what they do! I will be back there almost every week and I am going to deffinattely spread the word! MUST try best in San Antonio hands down!!!! They have not even been open a week and the impression and food is literally "out of this world"

We where getting tired all those same-old Pizza food chains & find it a little hard to get food that actually taste good & good service that should go along with it.

So I took my family to this new place "MAAR's Pizza & More" that just opened. Not knowing what to expect, we ordered Pizza, Wings, Fried Pickles & Drinks. This was *THE BEST* fresh, home made food my family & I have had in a VERY LONG TIME. Though it was very busy, (-:a+good+sign:-) the whole staff @ MAAR's Pizza & More where very amiable & went out of there way to accommodate everyone. I also love the fact that the owners where on the floor helping. To me that shows they really do care about there staff & guest.

When it was time for us to go, our waitress brought the bill. We where astound to see for all that good food (& much left to take home) our bill was actually much less than expected.

I live across town but I need to say that "MAAR's Pizza & More is by far the best & well worth the drive. I'll be going back next weekend for more...
