FOOD POISONING
AFTER READING THE 2 PRIOR REVIEWS I WOULD NORMALLY HAVE BEEN INCLINED TO TRY THIS PLACE, BUT AFTER MY SON WENT THERE THE DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING AND GOT A MAJOR CASE OF FOOD POISONING (DIAGNOSED BY THE EMERGENCY ROOM, BLOOD SAMPLES AND ALL) THERE IS NOT ONLY NO WAY, BUT HELL NO! THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE FOR THE LACK OF CARE SO THE CUSTOMERS GET POISONED. THEY NEED TO PULL UP THERE BOOTSTRAPS. AND IF THEY HAVE TO ADD A $ IT WOULD ALL BE WORTH IT.

Almost King Taco - Almost!
For expat Southern Californians here in San Antonio this is truly the BEST place to get homestyle food! Carne Asada, Carnitas, Machaca, and more. As a Native Los Angeleno, I was very impressed even the flour tortillas for the burritos are cooked just like in SoCal and stuffed with arroz, frijoles, and guacamole and your choice of meat, fish, potatoes can be added as well. This place is just like the old restaurants in East LA were before the Centro-Americano invasion. One down side is they don't serve chicharron here, but the lengua, tripas,(crispy on 2 corn tortillas with cilantro and cebolla....MMMM)and seos more than make up for that!Los Robertos is also open 24 Hours and the prices are right too, mid priced for San Antonio.

Real Mexican Food in the Heart of Northside SA
Excellent authentic MexiCali food excellent service and in our neighborhood. I have been living in North SA for over 12 years and have missed the down home goodness of real mexican food. After just one try of their delicious super nachos, burritos, barbacoa and home made corn and flour tortillas I was hooked. You pay for the food not the atmosphere, feed the whole family at affordable prices.
