I do not recommend Paul Esquivel.

I do not recommend Paul Esquivel. I thought maybe he could help my loved one because of his popularity. You see him on billboards everywhere and on TV. He charged us $1200 to do NOTHING! He is just money hungry. The law office lied to us several times they said they were going to the immigration jail to talk to my loved one and each day was another excuse on why they didn't show up. They even said they talked to him and said "Oh yes he speaks very good English" Yet when I asked my loved one he said no one spoke to him. He didn't even show up to the court hearing. We made an appointment to ask him why he didn't show up and on the day of the appointment he wasn't there. He is just charging all his clients $1000 and he only puts more effort on the easy cases. Worst attorney ever! Be careful with him.

This is my opinion and I hope it helps. Stay away from this law firm. The staff for Paul Esquivel is no good. Jose is the rudest person I have ever dealt with. He belittles the customers and I am not sure if Mr. Esquivel is aware of the way he is, his supervisor Manuel is his uncle so he is bias of repremanding him. No one ever calls you back, I had to call almost every day to get a simple answer. My husband has no criminal record and I was told he would bond out. $3000 later he is back in his country and Paul Esquivel did nothing. I have spoken with other law offices that stated that my husbands situation should have NEVER been a NO BOND situation but a higher one at that. Please go with another attorney. My husband may be illegal but that does not hide the fact that his human rights were violated. I will go to the legal board and to the better business bureau because I do not wish this type of service on anyone

The offices have began an exciting new…

The offices have began an exciting new program that helps families from mexico and central america that had no way of obtaining work permit or a drivers licence before. You have to call, especially if you have a United States citizen family member and have been in US for some time. They can get you a work permit, protection for deportation, a drivers licence and social security card and more. Call them, they have worked with much of my family and as of such I have been pleased to work with and for then in getting there message out. It is a great new program, dont miss ouot

Mr. Esquivel's San Antonio office intruduced our family to a new program that helped my husband get a work permit and protection from deportation when all other attorney's had not be able to help us. The office spent a great deal of time and consern in our case and found a program that heped us. I was refered by other clients here in San Antonio and I have found Mr. Esquivel;'s srtong reputation in the San antonio area to be well deserved. I am a citizen and ws so upset that the US government did not want to help my husband and my famiy. mr. esquivel showed me the US is not so bad, just have to know your rights. Thanks!!!

Would not recommend

Paul Esquivel did not do much to help my husband. His assistant order my husband his work permit and never received it. The day of court he was supposed to file an extension. The week before his departure his assistant was rushing to the immigation office to file and still till this day we have not hear anything. My husband went in to the office to find ot what was going on and he was told there was nothing else they could do for him. After Paul told him not to worry. I went in to the office and left a message to return my call to pick up the paper work to find another attorney its been over a month and still have not heard from anyone. They do not return your calls at all. Do your homework before you hire an attorney. This is your for your own peace and happiness.

well im glad he's helped some one but i would never recommend him to anyone. I paid for his services and he didn't even show up for the hearing, and never even registered as my attorney even after i paid him 1,000 dollars. His legal staff were inconsistent and misleading!! If i could i wouldn't even give him a star of rating....

I have worked through my state position with families that need help and have no where to turn to answer their immigration problems. With the new hard rules against immigration and the need to find a legal means for someone to remain in the United States who has family reasons that are legitimate to make it necessary to help these poeple stay here, this is a goupd of people who put poor people and thier needs ahead of the bottom line when necessary. If they can help out of the bottom of their hearts, I am sure they can help any family out there who want to do things right and become legal. I think we all need to address this immigration problem. Give them a chance to help you.

mr. esquivel the head of the law firm was my attorney and went with me to court. He explained everything before it happended and insured me everything was gonna be ok. I can not believe he won my case when an attorney who was supposed to be the best and oldest in SA let me down and charged me double for nothing at all.
