I never write bad reviews but I feel I need to today. I sent a photo via text of the style I wanted to who I believe was the shop owner and was quoted one price. I specifically asked based on length and size of braid. My appointment was at 9 am, the person doing my hair did not arrive until around 9:50 am and did not begin my hair until 10 am. Thank you D.S. for expressing your concern to us. We apologize that your experience with us was less than satisfactory. Do not hesitate to call me at 210-427-3974 in order to fix this. We usually have a great track record of servicing our guests upon arriving in spite of how busy we get and we must have dropped the ball that day. I apologize for the misunderstanding between you and the braider and I wish you had called me so that we could fix it to a compensation, fair to you, in relation with the service provided. And for the pain, we actually have a diversified guests pool with people that braid their hair all the time and others that are tender headed and all we need is that the guest let us know so that we can match them with the right braider. We have put it in our website a few weeks back just to avoid something like this to happen. The reason for that, is braiding is a balancing act. If it is too soft, it may be loose and fall off in a while and make you unhappy. If it is too tight it stays in place but it may hurt to some people. Therefore all we need is just a little bit of communication between the braider and the guest to find the right balance by providing beautiful braids that are straight and not crooked, tight enough to last while being soft enough that it will not hurt. Not easy but we get it done every day with many guests a week at a high satisfaction rate in our salons.
