This is very SAD! I was a previous client at K Charles for about 6 years. I think when you've been going to a salon that long people tend to get relaxed about the extras: offerings of a glass of water, attention to detail of your cuts. I've actually walked in and was asked ""same thing?"" regarding my hair; I never felt inspired to try a new style/look or even received a response from my own initiation about adding some color. I became bored with myself and my stylist who I had originally loved.
I will say that the facials are superb!!
On a side note I also had the worst experience with the management at Stone Oak (Chris Vincent) who called me on the attack because I had to reschedule an appointment due to no babysitter!!! She even went as far as to say that I was the ""type of person who doesn't care about people's time"" and that ""pushing away business was delicate but since I wasn't bringing her business it wasn't a big deal."" remember I had been a customer there for 6years and was even beginning to take my teenage daughter there as well. I couldn't believe the insults I received for rescheduling maybe 4 appts over the course of 6 years! I am a mother of 4 and am married to a business man who has a busy life style.
I loved having time to myself to receive a little pampering and it was never my intention to waste anyone's time. In fact on separate occasions I had received calls that the stylist and even the person doing my facial needed to reschedule because they were sick and I understood that kind of thing happens to us all. So I was definitely surprised at the manager who was calling to cancel my business with KCharles due to a rescheduled appointment!
Good news -- Emali Lane Spa on Sonterra (formerly Jeannette's Spa) saw me without an appointment and gave me a new style and warm smile!
Maybe the whole incident was a blessing in disguise!
