If you have gluten, lactose, fructose or any known food sensitivity, don't believe the HuHot website and go to this place. While the host is pleasant and accomodating, they cannot answer any questions about the actual ingredients in any of their sauces and you will be told to ""Go to the website and send in your comments"". A lot of good that does while you are seated trying to order or decide what you are going to eat. We left as I decided it was not safe for me to eat there.
Go elsewhere, like TinStar Tacos on Callaghan where they know exactly what is in their food and will try to adapt the food to you.
I'm a regular at huhot, I go about once a week. I've been there at all times of the day 11am, 3pm, 5pm, 7pm and no matter what time I go I receive the same five star service every time! When I have guest from out of town come up to visit that's the first place I take them too! Not only is it fun mixing up your own ingridients and designing your own plates with a variety of meats, veggies and sauces but the cooks put on a nice little show! Everytime I talk to my out of town guest, the first thing on their mind is coming up to SA to go eat at HuHot! Don't get me wrong, it's super busy and packed at lunch time and you may have to use two bowls but the overall experience is Five Stars in my book!!!

Huhot is a lot of fun and very tasty. I've never been to a Mongolian grill before, but we're definitely going to put this into rotation. You pick your own meat and veggies and sauces and then watch as someone cooks it for you on a giant grill. I definitely recommend it. But put twice as much sause on as the board says too.
Not too special. I really dislike how they advertise on their site saying that certain unique foods are only at certain locations - false advertising at its worst. Go for their lunch buffet and don't forget to use two bowls when getting your food. Their rice is horridly dry, just stick to their buffet line and hopefully there is more than one cook so you can get your food within a reasonable amount of time.

Huhot is a great place to suit many different cravings. The method to the madness is most definitely keeping the amount of food on the plate manageable to leave room for many trips to the grill changing flavors from the bountiful seafood, meat and poultry selections to the various sauces with multiple house guidelines to tweak to your various likings. Make sure to go early in the evening or a little while after the dinner rush to ensure quick service in the cooking of your custom made hot meal. The service is somewhat sub-par at the table; however, the lack of need for a server, as this is a buffet, leave little to be desired as long as your drink is always full when you return from the grill with your piping hot plate of cooked meats and vegetables. Also, there is always a reasonable alcoholic drink special to enjoy with the spice and flavor of Huhot.
