Whatever It Takes!
Hallmark CollegeÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s educational philosophy requires students to achieve mastery of sequentially ordered course material and to demonstrate competence in performing skills or behaviors that are central to specific tasks, activities, or careers. Advisory Committees or other industry representatives verify these identified tasks. Students are told specifically what performance competencies are required. Instructors regularly evaluate studentsÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ progress against these stated objectives. Finally students do not advance to more complicated skill material until they perform tasks that are required for successful job performance at a specified level of competency. Field trips, guest speakers, school activities, etc., are incorporated into the scheduled hours without deletion of required course material or student projects.
