My husband and I recently ate at your restaurant in San Antonio. We had made reservations several weeks in advance and were promptly seated. The ambiance was great and it was packed. Our waiter was a gentleman and attentive while leaving us alone to chat. He recommended the valentines meals for two along with a great wine pairing to compliment the meal (as it did very well). \r \r I never write comments to companies good or bad, but I felt like I was ?robbed?. We had the crusted lamb and lobster. While the meal was very delicious, it was not enough for 2 people. The lamb only had 2 cuts of meat on it and it was mostly gristle. It was embarrassing to continually remove gristle from my mouth. The pieces that were meat were very good. The lobster, was good but had very little meat. The final straw was the fondue. I love fondue so that was the first thing we ordered for the end of the meal. Your waiter did great at telling us it was really good. We received it and I thought it was weird that the chocolate was in a bowl and did not have a tea light candle or any source of heat. But maybe there is something about fondue that I don?t know about. With our 6 pieces of ?pound cakes?, 3 pieces of banana, 3 pieces of pineapple and 8 pieces of ? cut strawberries it was nowhere near $9.50. We both dipped into the chocolate and I instantly thought to myself, this is not fondue chocolate. Then my husband mentioned that it tasted funny. I took another bit and said, I think it is chocolate syrup. Chocolate syrup?? \r \r Needless to say we feel completely ripped off and we left hungry. We wasted $140 on sub par food. Again, there was nothing wrong with the staff, everything was great, it was the food that was so disappointing. So much so, that a) we?re are unlikely to go back and b) we?d not recommend it to our friends and c) I would not recommend this place to our clients

I thought I had tried every filet or other cut of beef out there, then comes Fleming's. This steak house has impressed me from day one. I've been here twice in the last few months and each time my wife and I enjoyed it very much. The cuts of beef are the finest, aged beef and they cook it just the way we like it. I couldn't recommend a better place to enjoy a good ol' American steak. It gets very crowded, but they offer a free valet service. Enjoy!!

The service started out a little slow when they first opened however the service now is great. Christan is probably the best there. The food has been right on from day one. We have eaten at many of theFlemings across the country and they have all been great. San Antonio & Austin are the best.
