Manager with no class/tact
In May '09 I took 3 shirts and 3 pants into this location off NW Military (near Chase bank), the gentleman helping me was very nice. I asked him if using my 25% coupon off the entire amount would be better than the ""pay for 2 pants, get 1 free."" He said the coupon, so he printed my claim ticket which had 6 items. Around 9ish he called to tell me that he made a mistake on the ticket and had 6 items down, when he only counted 5. I told him, I did leave 6 items. I left 3 shirts, 3 pants. He was very nervous because his manager was there and was upset that he did not count the items in front of me. I felt bad for the guy, I told him I would check my van and make sure they were not there. I called him back and let him know, I don't have them. He told me he looked around again and could not find them. As we were talking, the phone was taken from him in mid-sentence. A very agressive, rude women began to tell me that I did not leave 3 pants, they only have 2 and did I still want my other clothes clean. I said, first of all, who am I speaking to? She said she was the manager and that her employee was wrong to put 6 items down taking my word instead of counting himself. I asked, are you calling me a lair? Of course, she said no but continued to tell me I did not leave 3 pants there. I asked her if she looked in other bags of clothes, the pants may have mistakely been put in someone else's order. She said, there is no way that would happen because they place the clothes right away into a bag along with the ticket. This conversation went on for a few minutes. She was very rude and would not accept that my pants where there or that she may be wrong. I told her to clean my clothes that they have and I'll be there to pick them up that night and we'll talk about my pants. I've been going to this location for 4 years, for the money they've made off me, why would I lie about a pair of year old pants! Anyway, I got another call around 5ish from the same guy that help me, he was so apologetic because guess what...they found my pants in a bag without a tag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh man, I was so ready to face that no class, rude talking manager-Sharon. When I got there she was not there. Her employees were so nice, they apologize over and over. They both told me that they could not believe she spoke to me the way she did--and ended up being wrong!! Well, I sent an e-mail to the owners of Five Star Cleaners telling them what happened, to this day I have not recieved an apology, e-mail or phone call from them or Sharon! I have not been there since and will not go back. Sharon acted like she was ""Miss Thing"" in front of her employees but ended up being an idiot!!!! She definitely has no manager skills, tact or class!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS THERE!!!
