My daughter was getting incontinence and diabetic supplies for 17 years at davilas. Orders were always incomplete when I would pick up. They said it happens occasionally, but this was every month!! Talking to Rudy Davila was no help. I switch companies for my daughters incontinence supplies, and I should have done it sooner becuz the other company is awesome!!! They even deliver with no problems!!!! But she was still getting her diabetic supplies at Davilas. Month after month was problems!! In May i went to pick up order when I was told to go on a Saturday. I get there and was told order was sent UPS. I told them ( name of person) told me to come and pick up since I have always picked up order. They said to go home and wait 3 days for order. I told them I was not leaving until I get order. They gave me order and was told they canceled UPS order. Well 5 days later, I recieved ups order from Davilas. I called to tell them to pick up the box, and they had the nerve to tell me to take it myself to Davilas or else!!! I told them ,it was there mistake and they need to pick it up themselves. They said I have to be home next day and wait for them .Told them I work and box will be outside. They picked up at 5:00. Well, since that fiasco happened I switch companies and my daughter gets her supplies somewhere else. And Today, Davilas sent a order without my consent UPS. I called them and told them we no longer with them and who gave consent to send order and bill insurance company.!! They had the nerve again to tell me to take order to them. I told them it was there mistake AGAIN and they need to pick up. Of course they told me to wait tomorrow all day and was even told since they know i work at a school and off for the summer.I told them yes Im off the summer and I have plans and BOX will be OUTSIDE on porch!!!! So please all new customers and existing customers if you are having this problem with them, please SWITCH!! Davilas does not care about their customers!! They are RUDE, RUDE and RUDE!!! They only care about the $$$$$$$ they get from us!! So BEWARE and STAY AWAY !!!!!! Rating isnt even a star. They suck!!!!

Great Pharmacy

My grandfather is getting up there in age and has quite a few health issues. this pharmacy is who he does all his buisness with. He has been a customer there for many years. If they don't carry somthing he needs then they start to stock it just for him. They are a small pharmacy but they make up in quality customer service for what they lack in size. The prices are great and the personel very friendly. I go there to pick up stuff for my grandfather all the time and what I like about it is they rarely keep me waiting very long. If he ever has a question they are just a phone call away. Have a need for a good pharmacy these folks are it look no further!
I just read the 2 reviews that were posted, and I can't believe it. We too have been with Davila Pharmacy for over 8 years, and have now been having problems. Last month we did not receive her supplies on time. We had to wash and use the same feeding bag for several days. I made numerouss call, half the time no one knew what was going on. They were not sympathetic at all. My husband had to go across town to pick up her order (they are usually sent UPS)
Then this month, she did not receive her order and when I called they said that they had too many orders to fill over the weekend, so it would be late...again the representative over the phone had an attitude (it's my problem, not hers)
I also left two voice mail messages with the supervisor, but she never returned my call. Seems like the company is just getting too big. I'd say that our problems began about a year ago. we would often get part of our supplies also. Medicaid pays for the supplies, so we don't get an itemized bill of what they paid, I'd hate to think that they are abusing the system, but I'm beginning to wonder.
I have just been made aware of this review and I am embarrassed by the service you received. I have grown this company on providing excellent service and to here comments such as your is terrible. Yes you are correct we have grown quite a bit, however this is no excuse for the service you received, I truly apologize.I do want you to know that this is not our normal manner of operating, we are very busy however I try to stress to each and every one of my employees to put themselves in the patients shoes and treat patients the way you would want to be treated. I do want you to know that I have never and will never bill for services that you do not receive. I have made changes several changes to my staff, hopefully this has improved the situation and although it may be a little late if I can ever be of service please do not hesitate to contact me. I would be my pleasure to earn your trust again. Thank you
I used Davila Pharmacy for over 8 years, several months ago I began not receiving ALL of my supplies I was supposed to get. I called and they said it would be sent out. I NEVER received it. The next month came and the same thing happened. This went on for 3 months. I had enough I called and said I would no longer be using them due to not receiving products my disabled daughter relied on. I know they were getting paid for the products because my daughters insurance sends me a letter telling me what all they have paid for in detail. Now after months of not using them due to not receiving some of the products my daughter was due, TODAY, June 12, 2009 what do I get in the mail. I letter from my insurance that Davila was trying to bill for products my daughter used to get from them, it has been over 3 months since I stopped service with them and NOW, they are billing my daughters insurance for May of 09 THROUGH November 09. That tells me they have no clue what they are doing, or are trying to get money for services my daughter would not even get from them. In my opinion, they are being dishonest by not giving people the products we were due, and now 3 months later billing my insurance when we have a different Pharmacy we receive all her supplies from. Something is just not right!! I would not recommend them, especially if you will need long term services with multiple items.
Again, this is embarrassing.....we service thousands of patients and it is always difficult to please every patient however that is our goal. We have upgraded our software and made internal changes to improve the areas that were definitely in need. I want to reassure you that we do not bill for services that we do not provide. At times due to internal issues, paperwork requirements and other issues the billing may be delayed, which is why you receive paperwork months later, but I want to assure you that we have not nor will we bill for services not provided. If I can ever be of service or answer any question do not hesitate to call.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM IF YOU WILL NEED THESE ORDERS TO BE CONSISTENT FOR A LONG TERM!
My daughter and I have been a customer for at least 6yrs. We have had some small problems off and on but they would be far between. In the last 6mos service has been horrible! We have been getting a large order once a month then for no reason they decided to only fill half the order when I questioned the driver he said he asked them the same thing because he knew this was not our complete order and they wouldn’t even check for him. When I called they apologized and said they would send it out right away. We didn’t receive the rest of the order at all that month because when they didn’t send it and I called back a few days later it was now the 1st of the next month and I was told this would count for this month and we lost the order for the last month. Every month since then they have separated our order and forgot to send the order and we have lost half of our order 3 times!!!! I have called several times and everyone says they are going to fix this but no one has ever followed thru. I have asked that if they really wanted our business that Mr. Davila who they say is there would give me a call to hear my complaint and maybe actually fix the problem then have him call me and I am still waiting 6mo later. I do not recommend them if you will need these orders to be consistent for a long term!
Your business is important to me. Had I known you were attempting to communicate I would have been more than happy to speak with you. My staff does try to resolve issues however I do not want anybody to think they can not speak with me at anytime. You trusted us for 6 years and unfortunately we lost that trust. I never want anybody to feel that they have to come to my business, I prefer for that my patients want to come to my pharmacy because of the service we provide and the understanding that may staff has for their situation. The majority of of our patients have enough issues in their lives and do not need any further frustrations. We have upgraded our software in our medical supply side as well as our pharmacy to make your visit or monthly experience much more enjoyable.
