This historic hotel definitely has many up sides (location near the Alamo and Riverwalk shops and plaza attractions). My family stayed here during Spring Break 2011 and we were disappointed with many things: "Mandatory" valet for $18.50 per night, cold powdered eggs for breakfast, small rooms for the $165 per night price. I've stayed here twice and I'll say that this hotel is very clean and has a nice staff. The lounge is very nice and they also serve good food in the restaurant. I only wish they would have had refrigirators in the room. Otherwise a fine, historic hotel. Was this review helpful?Yes No|Flag Abuse
