Coleman Worldwide Moving

After getting estimates recently from several smaller companies for an international move, we wanted to see how a larger company estimate would compare. We asked Allied for a quote and they sent us one of their agents from Coleman American. After nearly a week when we hadn't heard back, my husband called and was told that it takes 3 or 4 days. After over a week, I both called and emailed and have yet to hear anything back.



If they tell me that the job is not worth their energy or the timelines won't work out, or they are so big that they don't need my money, I can handle that, but I don't appreciate being left hanging, hoping to hear a response. I am incredulous at the lack of courtesy we were shown. At this point, after being blown off, if they were to call with an estimate, I wouldn't even consider it.



I suppose I should be grateful, we may have dodged a bullet. I can't imagine how they treat you once you have paid your bill and handed over your belongings. Their treatment of potential clients is arrogant, unprofessional, and downright rude.

You would be better off to hire two drunks and a truck. I have move a total of 9 times and this was the worst experience that I have ever had. When the truck came to deliver our house hold goods after a month in storage the truck looked as if it had been loaded by gorillas. This "moving company" lost over $5000 worth of camera equipment and damaged multiple items. The adjustment that has been proposed to repair and replace these items was $75. SAVE YOUR SELF A HEADACHE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
