CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills

Go to another hospital if you can. Went to this hospital with chest pain. Seems to be staffed by students. Person checking me in did not flag me as patient with chest pain which delayed EKG until nurse taking vitals later realized it. Waited another 10 hours and finally walked out - never saw a doctor. Several other patients during the 10 hours I was there also had walked out. If it wasn't so serious a situation, it would be funny hearing staff call out for patients that had already given up and left. Sad; hope they found medical care elsewhere. I can not believe staff and more importantly management, at this hospital doers not seem to care more about the people who come to them for help.

My husband was in the hospital in October for an operation. The surgery went well and the nurses were great.

Took mom to emergency in ambulance. When in the Er room the Dr. saw my mom once and did not come back until almost 6 hours later. They did a couple of tests. My mom is diabetic and was left unattended for many hours. She was given no water and instructions were she could not eat either. The nurse said they also had run out of certain supplies that my mom needed. The nurses were very rude and were not helpful and didnt want to be bothered at the nurses station. Our family thinks they are severely understaffed and/or unqualified and uneducated on patient etiquette. It seems that the nurses do not enjoy doing their jobs. They have a very negative Attitude. I recommend a retraining from top down. We will not be using this hospital again if we have other options. My family does not recommend this Er hospital at all.

Mother in hospital for 24 hours now.. has Doc instructions not to go to bathroom on her own. When she rings for nurse, is totally ignored. And do u think they have prepared her to bathe? She is still waiting and it is now 9 p.m.! Very disappointed!

Took son to ER and found that they charged $3,100 just to go to ER. Really upset, and the sad part abnout it is that its a catholic hospital.

I waited for 3 hours to be seen. They took me in, did one small test, sent me back to the lobby for another 2 hours before they called me again. They took me in for blood work and sent me back AGAIN to wait in the lobby. After 2 hours of waiting I ask the the nurse at the front desk (African American woman) and she is as clueless as can be. Cant offer any help, cant answer what's taking so long. Very unprofessional and pretty much told me to shut up and wait. I thought Santa Rosa is a Faith based hospital? They sure do hire staff that do not show it. Anyone need to go to the ER?? GO TO METHODIST. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!

Requested pain meds for head ache multipule times... finally leading to a full blown migrane 12 HOURS LATER! After getting myself dressed and prepared to leave! Staff continually screwed up my status letting me go 23 HOURS without eating! By the time they got thier cr@p together caff. was closed! Starved and put threw hell!!!

Bad treatment. Not professional doctors recommendation for cast not followed thru by staff. Request assistance by staff ignored. Requested bill break down not given and no follow up instructions given or recommendations. Very bad service.
