Ordered food for lunch delivery today and just got it a few minutes ago not as hot as expected as the driver didn't know where to deliver to and I didn't have a good way to explain delivery either so I won't look at this issue as I know it is hard to get to where I am if you have never been here before. So food was a bit cooler than hoped packaged in a brown paper bag with my can soda in a brown paper bag also. The eggroll was in a separate paper bag of its own as well as the plastic-ware (in which fork was deformed to look closer to that of a spoon with tears in it). Food was in a nice plastic 2 portion container with a removable lid on it. Didn't appear to be steamed up either I'll point out but was in a moving car as well so.... hmm..
Price was not as advertised on their website so I paid about 50 cents more for this mistake on their end.. I will deduct 1 star for that alone as they should be charging what they advertise on their own business website where I found their full menu..
Otherwise... To the food:
Sesame chicken.. Yummm... So I had hoped. It has not much taste at all, almost like a watered down sesame chicken sauce with the same consistency. I would give it like a 4/10 for taste compared to other places I have eaten at (and I eat out A LOT. The Fried Rice the SAME, mostly bland and I think I would have rather plain rice instead if I knew it would be this tasteless - tastes right in the middle of plain rice and fried rice almost like a lightly fried rice, very greasy too... The Eggroll was as good as expected and so was my sprite but they didn't can that. Overall my order will still have to be 4/10 which will keep me from ordering again as I don't think anything will change but maybe the speed I get the food which if tastes the same I would rather pass and go somewhere else.
So my rating 4/10 or 2/5 minus the star for the wrong price and that leaves 1 star. I am hateful of myself for being so harsh on my first delivery but the first impression ruined it for me today. Sorry for those who think differently but I explained myself pretty well I think.
I will point out the customer service and the communication through delivery problems was as good as I could expect but the up-selling was not. I was not offered a salad or soup or anything else that could increase my order indicating maybe they don't care about making money or don't mind losing this 1 hard to find and get to customer...
