Took my daughter (4) here for her first dentist appointment ever. She was really excited to be there until she got in the chair, and I feel like they hardly made any effort to make her feel comfortable or let her know what was going on. Dr. Hernandez was way too quick and it didn't seem like she cared to make my daughter feel comfortable, especially for it being her first time! And they kept asking me if it was her first time, over and over, and if they'd looked through ALL the paperwork I had just filled out, they would have known the answer to it! For being a 'pediatric' dentist, I'm not happy with our experience. Also, the nurse/helper/whoever it was that took us back couldn't even run the machines right!! She didn't realize the reason the pulse machine wasn't working was because it wasn't plugged in, and she had trouble putting the blood pressure cuff on the right way. Then we tried to get x-rays, and the 'nurse' told me I needed to wait outside the door. I said, ""Oh I know, I just wanted to tell her what was going to happen."" And the 'nurse' said, ""Oh. I thought that was MY job."" So I said, ""Well I'm her MOM..."" ...She didn't end up being able to get xrays of my daughter. Oh and the front lobby isn't made for kids in ANY way. Just couches. My normal dentist has more for kids than that! Won't be going here again!
