Good customer service & good food my favorite dish is the Chicken Fried Chicken with half fries & half onion rings because they have great onion rings & Chicken Fried Chicken the atmosphere is nice it's County but place is old been there for many years

GREAT HOMESTYLE COOKING. NEVER A DISAPOINMENT. I'VE BEEN EATING THERE FOR 30+ YEARS AND IT IS ALWAYS GOOD FOOD. THE WAITSTAFF IS ALWAYS CURTIOUS. THE LUNCH SPECIALS ARE DELICIOUS AND FILLING. THE PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE AND THE PORTIONS ARE GENEROUS. YOU WON'T REGRET DINING THERE.

Bud Jones is the best! Their fish is great, and so is everything else they fry. They serve chicken fried steak that's the size of the plate, and chicken tenders with gravy that are to die for! The fried shrimp is also excellent. The fish can occasionally be in the thin side, but it's still delicious. The prices are pretty fair, and the hostess' are very friendly. They'll chat with you and play with the little kids that come in. The atmosphere is a nautical theme with many fish, crabs, nets, and wood decorations on the walls. You can choose to sit in a booth which is pretty large and great for privacy while you're eating. Bud Jones has a lot of history in San Antonio, and I would (and do) recommend this restaurant.
