Boys Town Texas has been serving children and families of the Lone Star State through a wide variety of programs since opening its doors in 1989. The site’s Foster Family ServicesSM program provides safe homes in the community for children of all ages who have special care needs. Our Community Support ServicesSM offer Common Sense Parenting® classes for parents who want to improve the child-rearing skills they have and learn new ones. These services and programs touch the lives of 81,000 children and families in Texas each year. Boys Town Texas is headquartered in San Antonio. Janie Cook serves as the Executive Director. Boys Town has a long history of serving as an excellent steward of our donor support. The Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance named Boys Town a BBB Wise Giving Alliance Accredited Charity. And Charity Navigator, one of the nation’s largest and most-respected charity rating systems, has awarded Boys Town its highest 4-star rating for the sound management of its finances. We are very strongly positioned to continue to save children and heal families in Texas.

Charity Foster Care Assistance Foster Care Services With the support of our generous donors, we’re reuniting kids with their families, finding foster homes for others, providing a Boys Town family for those with nowhere else to turn, and still others are receiving help at home where they can remain together as families.
