See my review of "Boyd Lighting" for more details about my experience. It is the same company but I put my review under the less popular search name by accident and now I can't move it to here. They are an excellent, low-pressure, highly competent showroom full of helpful people who will do their best to find what YOU want or need for an incredibly reasonable price. I came in looking for a replacement piece to a light fixture in my home and they spent 30 MINUTES helping me find just the right piece (which only cost me $12.50 but, by the way the helped me, you would have thought I was purchasing a $1,000 chandelier), made sure I understood how to install it, and even gave me a free part to make its installation easier. What a great experience. Thanks Boyd!

When we moved into our home 5 years ago, we did not realize what a headache we were in for when it came to finding replacement pieces for the lighting and window treatments. The lady we bought the house from was an interior designer, so everything she had purchased was really expensive (she got it for a discount), and IMPOSSIBLE to find pieces for. Enter Boyd Lighting. We needed to replace the cover of one of the fixtures in our home, but when we started to look around, low and behold, you couldn't just go to Home Depot and get one. So, I headed into Boyd lighting to see what they thought about it, and what a wonderful experience! (I chose them because of the bad review the other company on San Pedro had gotten by someone else). The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, and went out of their way to find something for me that was not only inexpensive, but that actually looked even better in my home than what I was trying to replace. No high pressure to buy a new light fixture from them, and they treated me as though I was looking for a $1,000 chandelier. In the end, after showing me several samples that they had on hand (all for under $15), and connecting each one to a light bulb so I was sure I liked how it was going to look, they even gave me a free part to make its installation easier and walked me through how to put it up so I didn't break it or the wiring. They didn't get upset when I changed my mind about which color I was looking for halfway through, and after 30 minutes of detailed help and service, I walked out of there with the perfect piece that fit exactly like they said it would when I got home and put it up. If you are looking for friendly, competent service, great prices, and a low-pressure atmosphere, you have got to go to Boyd Lighting.
