Overall
Not a good place for exotic pets.

The staff was nice, however I do not recommend taking your guinea pig to this place. My guinea pigs were falsely diagnosed with diarrhea and I was told to give them antibiotics and to feed them yogurt for 7-9 days. I sought a second opinion and was told they did not have diarrhea- all I had to do was withhold vegetables for a few days (which worked and their droppings returned to normal within a day). I was also told guinea pigs are strictly herbivores and the yogurt would have caused discomfort and diarrhea, because guinea pigs cannot properly digest dairy. I was told the vet at Banfield should have given me a safer probiotic other than yogurt.

My guinea pigs also had a fungal infection. The Banfield vet ran a skin test which took two weeks to get results. The results were negative and the vet told me it would heal on it's own. My second opinion told me fungal infections do NOT heal on their own, they only get worse and can turn into bacterial infections, which are painful and fatal. I was told to treat the infections. After I began treatment, my guinea pigs finally got better.

The vet may be okay for cats and dogs, I am not sure, but I strongly recommend going elsewhere for guinea pigs.
