I am the person responsible for the 5 star ratings this company received. Due to unethical behavior, I quit my job with this employer. If you do not want to be in a car wreck while learning, call me, at Rhodes Driving School. Need verification/proof of my identity? Ask both of the people who gave a good review on this page who their instructor was. I also have very good reviews on other sites as well. Was this review helpful?Yes No|Flag Abuse

- More Info:
- Established in 1976, Austin Driving School is a driving school, with offices in Austin, Arlington, College Station, Fort Worth, Garland, Pflugerville, Rount Rock, San Antonio, Temple and Waco, Ariz. Each of the company s locations is state licensed and bonded as required by law. The school offers the state required 32 hours of classroom theory and 14-hour in-car drivers education programs, year-round. Its classroom training program requires students to attend two hour classes each scheduled class day, and subsequently qualifies them to receive a learner's permit after three days. After receiving the instructional permit, students can begin the behind-the-wheel phase of their training while continuing with their classroom theory instruction. The school provides in-car training sessions in late model, dual-controlled cars. Graduates are provided certificates acknowledging completion of the state requirements for driver education, and that makes the student eligible for licensing.

I signed up for the adult driving classes with Austin driving school just recently and my experience was excellent......my driving instructor Mrs.Esther was great she went out of her way to make sure I passed my driving test and indeed I did....so I recommend her as a instructor and this driving school. Was this review helpful?Yes(1) No|Flag Abuse

And I was basically starting from scratch. They key for me was PRACTICING between lessons. I didn't have any pr... view moreWas this review helpful?Yes(2) No|Flag Abuse

I signed up for their Driver's Education course but decided to quit after two days. The quality of their classroom instruction was absolutely poor. They had a policy at the time, stating, "You have three days to quit a course for any reason, and we will refund your money in full." Well, I did exactly that; however, they didn't refund my money. They technically stole over $300 from me. That says a lot about their char... view moreWas this review helpful?Yes(1) No|Flag Abuse
I went in to sign up driving school and the girl at the counter was very rude. I asked her questions about a certain class and her answer conflicted with what was on the website. I asked her why it conflicted and she said "Lady, I dont' have any idea, I have never seen the website, this is just how it is!" Meanwhile during this exchange there was a man at the desk having a loud phone converstion. He was stating over ... view moreWas this review helpful?Yes(1) No|Flag Abuse
