AF is an amazing shelter with a huge heart, All they want to do is help San Antonio's staggering number of stray animals. They do their best to keep it going from day to day. Its alot of work. The animals are precious and get everything they need. Don't listen to the negative reviews about the shelter. So what if they don't pick up the phone when it rings every time, they are very busy! I have adopted both a dog and a cat from this shelter. I have also volunteered and donated food, money and supplies for the last two years. Cheryl is an angel to these animals. They have untreated health problems, severe behavioral issues and many (including one of the ones I ended up with) are unadoptable by most reasonable standards.

I don't think so. If we did, we... view moreLike this review?Yes|Flag AbuseProvided by Citysearch
