Able Fence

Please be aware: We hired Able Fence and Handyman Service from San Antonio, TX at 311 Woley Dr, San Antonio, to install a fence at our home. Found them on Craigslist (bad idea). They agreed to do the job, and asked for partial money up front for materials, etc. Seemed reasonable at the time. They gave me a receipt with the agreement and down-payment indicated, and we had a scheduled appointment. Since clearing our check, there has been one excuse after another and one reason or another why they had to reschedule.....5 reschedules in all. A mutual agreement to return our partial payment has turned in to 4 ADDITIONAL missed meetings... incredibly dishonest people. O can only hope this helps from victimizing anyone else. After this happened, we discovered other complaints against them for the same thing. They are listed with the BBB!

The names they gave were Robert (the representative) and Mary (the office manager), and the guy that cashed the check is Patrick Garcia.

It took us quite a while but we got our money back from them.

Stay away from this guy and his company. I paid him $300 in advance. That was a mistake. Every day he had an excuse. He was in an accident, one day. Next he had a medical condition that affected him. He blamed several absences on the weather. I just want my $300 back. Met both he and his wife. I thought they were legit..big mistake..please stay away from them and don't give them any money.
