I have studied the Bible for almost 50 years with over 30 of that in the ministry. It was my privilege to be introduced to Ariel Ministries at a prophecy conference in 1979. This was soon after I had left seminary where I had sat under the some of the same professors that Dr. Fruchtenbaum has studied with during his time at Dallas Theological Seminary and later some who had been his professors. Those some of them were critical of his stance on certain areas of prophecy they did not offer a better explanation of the issue. For almost 20 years I met a number of people, both scholars and those in the pews, who were aware of his teaching and they seemed to be mostly skeptical of his offering. In the last ten years there has been a major change in what I have been hearing. I have seen Dr. Fruchtenbaum's writings on many pastor's shelves and his writings quoted in many of the articles that I have read. It has been my privilege to host Dr. Fruchtenbaum in my home and the churches that I have pastored. For the last fourteen years I have served as the Protestant Chaplain at a California State Prison. Arnold has, on three occasions, delivered seminiars on the Word of God to the inmates at the prison. His materials are the most popular of all that they can obtain from the chapel libraries. Of all of the teachers I have been privileged to study under, Arnold has been to one that has opened my understanding of the Bible. I would encourage anyone who is serious aobut their Bible study to contact Ariel on the phone or at www.ariel.org.

From Business: We are a friendly, family oriented, independent Baptist church; Baptist by conviction because we believe that Baptist distinctives are Biblical distinctives. We are dedicated to preaching the truth, straight from Gods word. The Lord has led Pastor, James Leinneweber and his family here to serve the Bulverde, Canyon Lake an…
After trying out countless churches in San Antonio, this is the one. The people are genuinely friendly and real. They share their ups and downs and support each other. Small groups meet for dinners, house gatherings, and time to know one another. The teaching comes straight from the Bible, section by section, not just words picked out here and there combined with one person's spin. Many in the congregation have spent their lives studying, even obtaining Bible degrees, in order to be more useful in the church and to teach others. Many opportunities here for community work and missions.
God is moving at Victory Temple in a mighty way. There is a fresh annointing of the Holy Spirit on Pastor Jubal Garcia (Freddie Garcia's son)....The vision of the church is to reach out to the unreachable and love the unloveable, just like Jesus did...Freddie Garcia humbled himself before God over 40 years ago and God has used this man to point countless men and women to Christ and the finished work of the cross and Christ has delivered them from the power of drugs(sin). There is NO match to the Power of Christ and that is what they teach at Victory Temple. Please come visit.....
I've been at Madison Hills for about 7 years now. They have a great pastor named Jim Perkins. He delivers down to earth, biblically-based messages that reach people from all walks of life. The music program, led by Tom Morris, is a mixture of new and traditional music; looking forward, but not forgetting the past. The new youth minister is Darren Jones. Madison Hills also has many children's programs including Awanas and children's choir. It's worth giving a try for those who want to be involved in discipleship and ministry.
Solid church with a history of being grounded in scripture and missions. The long and godly legacy (30+ years) of Pastor Troxel is now being followed by Pastor Poupart with the same Biblical grounding and relevant applicability to every day life. Every church goes through cycles, and there was kind of a "down" period after Pastor Troxel's retirement, but Wayside now seems to be in a time of spiritual and energy growth. There are many good churches in San Antonio, but Wayside fits our family well.
I came to San Antonio from Colorado in 2001 and spent several months visiting churches in the area. I found a home at Wayside on my first visit. The people were exceptionally welcoming, and the worship and teaching were solid. I respect Wayside for taking stands on cultural issues that are clearly outlined in the Bible. Many churches in this day and age tend to shy away from controversial topics. Wayside will cover these topics, but will do so with sensitivity and grace.
What an amazing church service, the message was fantastic! I am also so glad to see a modern-day church caring about the community and giving to those in need. To Mr. J, People really shouldn't make judgemental statements about people they do not know and places they have only visited once, it's not Christian, and my experience was definitely not at all like you described.
The Lord is truly in this place. If people still believe that God still works miracles, healing and blessings, then they should visit this church. The singing, the praising, THE WORD and THE LOVE shown there is awesome. It's not about the man but the God that uses this man of god. Go visiit I gaurantee you'll feel the presence of THE LORD!
It was extremely pleasant to be able to fellowship with such a unique diverse culture of people? The are truly into the word and big on missionary work with Romania,Russia,Africa,Alaska. They truly walk the walk and talk the talk? I would recommend this church to anybody questioning their faith or looking for a home.
this church has changed my life through the power of jesus christ the service is very moving and fun .... this place is my second home it is also a home for those who need help and love the experience will change ur life the ppl are loving and kind and it looks even greater now that they redesigned the inside!
