Charlie is great. You people just expect to have your nose wiped for free because it's a small engine shop. He's an experienced professional, and because it's a 1 stroke motor you think it should only run you a dollar or two. If you can find a professional shop(I.E. advertises) that can do the same work that he does, at a cheaper price, I'll pay the difference. Serious;y, email me, give me proof, and I will. Make no mistake, he is going to tell you how it is, and 99.9% of the time he is right . Your best bet is to listen and learn about your machine - because he KNOWS! This guy would never cheat anybody, (he gives you the opportunity to bring in your own parts, and gives you back the old parts). What else could you ask for? I would have to say whoever wrote this is the racist. Because it isn't the guy who helped me.

Nothing but the best! I took my mower in for a tune-up; it was ready in three days! Purring like a kitten, cleaned like it came out of a show room. I found Certified Small Engine Repair after trying other places some with a 5 week turn around. I must add four months after the repair my mower was smoking really badly. I took it in and I was told I had oil in the muffler. He said I must have stored in on an incline, thinking back, I probably did. I’m sure another repair place would have charged me but he started it up; put some clamps on the handle, problem solved gratis after 5 minutes. Highly recommend Certified Small Engine Repair!
Great little shop. If your looking to buy or have your equipment serviced, this is a good place. If you like to fix your own, it's an even better place. The parts people know their stuff. I've had the lady that runs it ID my part while still in my hand. Try that at the auto parts store.
