I have been a loyal user of this range over the last 8 years or so. I really enjoy the atmosphere and I like how everything is set up. I've been to other ranges and really didn't appreciate the wide open shooting arrangements...just my opinion of course. The facility set up I think is conducive to a really great shooting experience for the whole family. The pistol range target system is simple and safe ( no walking down lane) and I also like the fact that you have individual lanes and chairs as well. The rifle ranges are set from 25 - 200 yards and some have working spotting scopes as well. There not the best, but some are more than adequate...bring your own just in case. Good overhead cover and more than enough shooting stalls. The shotgun ranges are more than adequate and I have enjoyed them as well. The only issue that I hope will be rectified by the new management is the repair of the non working pistol lanes currently at the facility...there were quiet a few that have been in disrepair over the last 2 years or so. I asked the old management about this a year or so ago...and they just kind of shrugged. I feel that for the prices they charge, this should not be an issue...I hope this will not be the same under this new team! I don't think the prices are outrageous, but I do not agree with the additional charge for each weapon. I have access to a much closer range availble to me here in my area, but I rather travel the longer distance for a better expierience. This range is more than adequate for your needs...as with any thing there are positives and negatives, weigh each one closely and I think you will choose this one instead.
Dury's Gun Shop is known to provide complete service and support to their clients and was recommended to me when I decided to buy a hunting rifle. Being an experienced hunter, I knew something about guns, but I had always used a rifle handed down to me from my Dad. I had decided to check off one of my bucket list items and made arrangements to go elk hunting. After making an appointment, Johnny Dury took his time out to discuss with me what I was thinking and when I arrived he had pulled out a number of rifles some which I thought I might want to try and a number that he recommended. Johnny was fantastic providing all kinds of statistical and practical information on each choice. In the end, I selected a Browning White Gold Medallion X-bolt 7mm-08. The stock is made of tiger striped maple and it is just beautiful! Johnny suggested a Leopold scope which I love. Every time I take it out of the gun case everyone does a double-take. Dury's cut the stock to fit my needs, mounted the scope and sighted it in for me. I don't plan to ever trade in my gun, but should I want to Dury's completely stands behind their products and with a lifetime warranty who could go wrong. Most importantly, being a woman and finding someone who will take you seriously and help you is not a common practice with many businesses; however Dury's went above and beyond to help me. I would HIGHLY recommend Dury's Gun Shop. Oh yeah the proof is in the take! I took an 430 point bull elk!
I had the pleasure of visiting Dury’s Gun Shop with my fiancé last weekend. This was my first time in an establishment like this; I must say I was very impressed. This was a couple days before the dove season opener and the staff were very busy. From the moment we entered Dury’s, we were welcomed or spoken to by every single Dury’s employee we encountered. While Tim and Tony took care of my fiancé, Laura who is the General Manager, took care of my license and visited with me as if I was family. I’ve never been in a business of ANY type that treats their customers so well. Dury’s even gives a lifetime warranty on all the guns they sell, whether new or used. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience and would highly recommend Dury’s Gun Shop. I can’t wait to go back! Allie
