Weeeellll, now, let us see. The LATEST is a notice that the management has chosen to do my ""free"" carpet cleaning this Wednesday. No phone call, no nothing. At LEAST this isn't one of their VERY (too) frequent notices that we will agin be without water or power!\r \r In this notice, they say…

This is an amazing property with immaculately beautiful cabins and as if that wasn't enough, the owners are the most dedicated, caring people. They have truly made this a home away from home for many grateful residents. It's so quiet and comfortable, we have been very happy here during our exten…

From Business: Just beyond the city lights of San Antonio is the perfect escape. This spectacular hideaway is a haven of comfort, fun and relaxation meant for those who prefer a color palate or natural earth tones to that of glass and steel. Colonnade is an apartment community rich with lush landscaping and spectacular floor plans that w…

Do yourself a favor and do not sign a lease here at Sierra Royale. Many plumbing issues, bath tub backed up with water and black pieces of sh*t; same problems with sink in bathroom, clogged up. Potholes all over the property, one big one with standing water in it. Perimeter wooden fence whole …

but with these additions. The new owners are actively fixing up their property. They seem to care about it. It was neglected, dangerous before Lynd came along. The managers? We haven't needed their help so can't comment on whether they're responsive or helpful. I would hope that they spell out what are the policies here and enforce them cause some of these folks are despicable. Unsupervised kids are one of the biggest problems. Kids between 7 and 11 years old, wild and will challenge you if you dare say something about them throwing rocks or running in the parking lots. They're constantly messing around other people's cars. We have cracked windows from them throwing rocks at windows and cars and each other. Wish they'd get rid of the landscape rocks! I think we'd be in a much better place if the parents were compelled to get out of bed and watch their children. Unless one of them comes up dead or hurt nothing will change. Besides the dope heads, kids left to their own devises will bring a place down quicker than anything. All of this can be placed at the lap of absentee 'parents' who need to stop pawning their kids off on the community and take responsibility. I recommend renting here to others with the current owners. They have much to do to bring this long neglected place around but they're trying and doing a great job.
Somewhat noisy--apartment walls are very thin so you can hear the neighbors fight in the early morning (next property over) and listen to their barking dog at 3am any given night. The property owner/manager is nice but the work they do in the apartments is left half-done and the workmanship is shoddy. In addition, there have been few hot showers since moving in and the heat wasn't turned on in time for the cold snap (that everyone in San Antonio talked about for a week PRIOR to it turning cold). That left us without heat in 30 degree weather. Not pleasant, especially since you couldn't take a hot shower to warm up. This place has good qualities--it's cute, the grounds are in nice condition and in an up and coming neighborhood only a half mile from The Pearl, but it needs professional management help. There's no one manning the office and keeping track of issues--absolutely no follow-up or tenant contact from management even when it's promised. I don't think this is intentional; the manager/owner in charge can't do it all and they absolutely need to hire help. For the price, we're not terribly impressed--and won't be signing another lease when ours is up.
I don't know what apartment MYOWNHERO is referring to but that does not describe the Polo Club. I am a mother with two young children. I live in the 3/2 and I have not had roaches nor cracks in the wall. My apartment was immaculate when I moved in and it stays that way because I clean my home. If you had roaches, you were filthy because these apartments have pest control come twice a month. And as far as work orders, my microwave went out on a Friday, they told me that they might not make it in til Saturday, but were able to replace my microwave that same Friday anyways. Yes, the gate is sometimes opened, but dont single out Polo Club just because you saw someone jump a fence. That sounds like a lie anyways, if you see the gates, you cant jump them! The apartment is not falling a part, they are pretty new! Sounds like your on a mission to slander a complex for your own benefit...where do you work? Westpond? I moved from there and THAT is bad management! You might be confused with another Polo Club Apartment Complex, but not San Antonio's.
If you're looking for an apartment in San Antonio, I would highly recommend calling Apartments Now. I recently moved to San Antonio from New York on short notice without an apartment lined up ahead of time. After talking with Clay from Apartments Now, he sent me a bunch of possible options and was able to set up a meeting as soon as I made it into the city. Once I was here, Clay found all of the apartments that had immediate availabilities (not many out of the hundreds of apartments in SA) and set up appointments for that afternoon. He even found me a 3%/month discount for my employer. Luckily everything cleared quickly and I had the apartment by the end of the day! They are a FREE SERVICE! All you need to do is list them on your final paperwork as the referral service. Good service, super helpful, and free for you - you can't get any better than that! Long story short: I arrived in SA at 11:00 AM and was moved into a great place by 5:00 PM. Thanks again Clay and Apartments Now!
Wow!! Cel is a consummate apartment locator. Upon calling him, he came across as friendly and jovial and let me know exactly what he do for me. After letting him know what I wanted and what part of San Antonio I wanted to live in he emailed me within the hour with several options. He even took the time to accompany me to a few of the apartments I considered. All his suggestions met my needs so I had great options. He made the process very easy and it did not feel like a hassle to deal with him. I'm glad that he was the first apt locator I called in San Antonio. I've worked with other apt locators and have not had the best experience. If you looking for someone who is on the ball and can get you what you need Apartment Locators is the one to call. The were no fees for his professional assistance, he only asked that I put his name down as who refereed me to the apartment.
I hads to work in that office cuz I heard a girl who worked their was doing sumton wrong. At the pool people saying she was doing wrong by the hand that fed her. Now thats I'm gone I wonts have to cover what was her work no mo. I can only do so much I likes my job. I was at the pool it has been talked about alot. A older woman said she had worn out hips and saggy breasts for being so young. She also said that girl got knocked up she should have hit that baby in the head and sold the milk. But they is old peoples. Then she went on saying she had breath from putting sumton in her mouth. How you get breath that bad? She doing sumton her mama wouldn't like. Wsup that girl gonna do now. How se gonna get scraps on table for her kit to eats. I wont goes back to the pool area they talkd to much. She no nothing about what she be talking about.
I've lived at Camino Real for approximately 3yrs and it has been the most pleasant place. In my backyard there's a raging river and a colorful forrest. Actually its a very scenic balcony view of...the drain. He! He! Have a sense of humor will ya??? :) Of course I didn't have any noisey or nosey neighbors, maintenance was always on time, and the pool and laundry facilities were emmaculately well kempt. What I liked best is that the complex is located in a very centralized area; Grocery store, shopping outlets, fast food galore and of course fine cuisine like you wouldn't believe!! Unforntunately I do rue over the fact that I will be transitioning into a new apartment. However it will still be with the same property managers. Oh one last thing, it's a gated community which is a big plus!!!
I live @Pressa Apartment from 10/2013-10/2014 my only problem for me to move out it was because to far from my work. Never had a problem with the management or staff when I needed something fix it was done immediately, the pool was always clean and the entire complex and afordable rent the worst of my stay : # 1-No notice when turn off water because of construction I understand fixing up the complex few times went late to work . #2-Laundry Room few times put money did not work to long or to slow the remodeling . #3-To many cars over night especialy on weekends difficult to park at night the office need to provide stickers and enforce a $$$ penalty . I did like all of the events for the residents. Thanks Cindy and staff, # 1216
I was driving around one day looking for an apartment and I saw a big moving truck that said 777-free. I called before I went in just to check if that was real, and they said they owned the moving company that how they could give the free movers. So I went inside and was greated very well and had me meet with a very experienced apartment locator that found me a awesome move in special at a nice apartment that was way under my budget and then they even took me to look at it, and then they had movers come to my old apartment and move all my stuff for free and did a very good job. I am a life time customer and recommend this place to everyone.
I have one child and picking a safe place is crucial. I've lived here for four years and love it. They have beautiful grounds they make sure to keep up with by planting beautiful flowers and palm trees. They have two separate playgrounds for my child. They have an overnight security guard who is well known and visible. The apartment staff is professional and sweet. They always greet you with a smile and are never negative. The apartment manager is very professional and fair. She really listening and gives you options in any situation. I'm only moving because I found a house. Great place to live with a family: )
