I had read the reviews about slow service before going to this Vision Source, so I asked the staff to help me schedule my appointments away from busy times. They have done this willingly, and I've never had to wait more than five minutes to be seen. I have had my choice of appointment times, too, often the next day. I've always had a problem with nearsightedness, but now my "reading" vision is going (farsightedness). The first set of contacts Dr. Palys prescribed just didn't work for me. If I concentrated, I could read with them, but my vision seemed blurry off and on, as if I were underwater. I thought that's just what I had to deal with now that I'm older, and Dr. Palys could have pointed out that my eye tests with them were 20/20 and convinced me to keep them. Or she could have talked me into more expensive bifocal contacts. Instead, she worked with me for over an hour (on a *free* follow-up visit!), checking the fit and prescription with various machines. She decided that my new contacts were flexing a little, messing up my view each time I blinked, and we also sacrificed a tiny bit of clarity on far distant vision in order to bring the reading vision in clearly. My new contacts are *perfect*! All for the same cost as the old contacts, an even swap, with no charge for all that extra time and all those extra machines and printouts. Dr. Palys listens to her patients, and that makes me a loyal and very happy customer.

Read with interest and can not believe this chap wrote in a review that they spelled his name wrong!! I can't spell Issac either! So much for good patient care and a quality eye exam and services. I see this business has been around since 1984 and now have 3 top notch doctors so their concern for customer care must be pretty good to last that long. Guess he just wanted to see his name on the internet trashing this fine doctor and staff. I reads his other reviews and he likes mexican restaurants and Mariachi bands and wonder if he knows anything about professional doctors' office? Keep up the restaurant reviews, but try some higher priced restaurants so we can hear you bash them too!! I enjoyed my visit to this high tech office with many technical instruments. Dr. Palys made me understand my eye exam and certainly not the kind of exam I had at Walmart and Cosco. Great selection of frames and Tom knows his stuff. Plenty of frames to choose from and never have seen a travel agency- GAMC Travel in a doctors office! Pretty cool! The staff seemed warm and friendly to me and welcomed and thanked me for my business. More than I can say I experienced at the McDonalds drive thru the other day for breakfast!!
I took my kids there the other day and was kind of worried, because the last time i came the lady in the front was very mean, and rude, but since not too many places accept all types of medicaid i had to come back. Walking in i relized there was a whole new staff from the manager to the young lady in the front she greeted me with a smile, and my kids were seen by another young lady who took us to the back and worked with my kids even though they can be a handful she was calm. The doctor came in and examined my kids, then handed us over the young man who helped my kids pick out some frames. I just picked up the frames, and they adjusted to fit my kids faces. I am very pleased with their new staff i would recommend this place to family and friends.
