What a relief!

I have only been here one time (la t week). But it wa o refre hing, I have been looking for a nice place to bring my cat when I noticed thi clinic (which wa right around the corner from me). I called to make an appointment, and I wa greeted nicely and they et me up to...more ee Dr. Hey at my convenience. Everything went moothly. The receptioni t were very nice, helped me fill out all the nece ary paper work. They called to remind me of my appointment the day before, they even reminded me to bring in any important medical information or vaccination hi tory (which I would have totally not have brought). Dr. Hey wa very prompt with hi cheduled time. I think I had talked with him per onally the entire 30 minute appointment. I had arrived a little early and a technician had checked me in. I wa very impre ed with how knowledgable the technician wa . He made ure I knew what we were doing today (a check up and vaccine ). He then a ked if I wa only any kind of flea or heartworm control. Well little did I realize that cat could get heartworm too!!! (It may be obviou to ome... but not for me!) He explained that there wa a prevention that not only protected my cat from flea , but from heartworm too. He even gave me a pamphlet on it, BUT he explained Everything!!! Needle to ay I got that prevention (mo quito ea on i coming up and they are the one who tran fer heartworm to our pet ). Next Dr. Hey came in. He review my cat long medical hi tory. A ked ome follow up que tion and gave me a li t of option that he would recommend ba ed on what he aw in my cat hi tory, but were not nece ary. He then thoroughly examined my cat. He checked the tip of the ear down to the tip of hi tail. He told me that my cat looked great and then vaccinated him right in front of me. He an wered all of my que tion , he explained everything to me. He made me feel very confident that my animal wa in good hand . I would recommend thi ho pital to everyone!!!view less

I feel everyone can learn from a review negative or po itive. Once in awhile you read omething that i completely off ba e however. In the ca e of the review dated 5/26/2009 "Wouldn't you want to know" it wa pelled mi pelled "Woldnt" I feel it ne...morece ary to re pond. I am the current office manager at Elli on Drive Animal Ho pital and I have felt very proud of the ethic , profe ionali m and manner in which Dr. Lori Curd and Relief Doctor and the entire taff treat their client and patient . I have found u to go beyond the call of duty when it come to trying to prepare for the difficult part of treatment for their pet , that being the financial part. We prepare e timate and do our very be t to tell them everything that can be eliminated if needed, tarting with the be t cour e of treatment fir t, then reduce by the client' availability or limitation of fund . We offer care credit, we prioritize and make every effort to do what i be t for the client and their pet. It i important to write thi o that potential cu tomer reading thi will under tand the ource. I looked back at the date and the pet' name and it coincide with emotional termination of a prior employee. We realize that thi wa po ted many month ago and unfortunately wa ju t brought to my attention. FYI: We have a ked that the per on involved be notified through the "report abu e" option on the po ting. We have a k her to do the right thing and remove the review. My family and I have been coming to Rig by Veterinary clinic when Dr. Burcher wa the veterinary. Dr. Luke Proctor and Dr. Sheryl Proctor are the only 2 doctor that ee my 2- enior dog . They are both excellent Doctor but if the taff doe n't improve I am orry to ay I ...morehave no problem a king for copie of my dog record and going el ewhere. The ugge tion I do have i a better office manager, plea ant receptioni t and more educated technician .... At one point they had a very plea ant clinic manager by the name of Sarah L... She alway acknowledged me by my la t name, ( the 2 front de k employee never can remember my name nor my pet even if I had ju t been there the day before . Better yet I don't even get acknowledged when walking in to the clinic.. ) wa very people friendly and compa ionate employee. Whenever checking in for an appt with Sarah or one of her receptioni t I NEVER had to repeat what my vi it at the office wa for that day... The e 2 girl that they have now are ju t flat out ignorant. They keep each other humored with none related work conver ion in tead of checking up with the client in the waiting room...God forgive you call up to the client becau e you will be left and ometime even forgot on hold. I can’t even count the many time thi ha happen to me. Now on the other hand there i 2 (and I mean only 2 ) technician ( Kri ty and Emily ) that are very thorough and i alway make ure it only one of them that ee my 2 dog . Over all I can only ay good thing about the Doctor and the 2 technician ... I do hope that Dr. Proctor doe read thi and replace ome of hi taff like he ha been doing to hi clinic. view less
