I used Sweet Thyme for meal services because it's been 2 years since I had my daughter and I needed to lose a little more weight (hate keeping up with diets and was too busy to cook that month with my husband on TDY for 2 weeks). When she called me she was very nice and super inquisitive into how I like to eat and what I was trying to get out of the service (at first I thought she was asking way too many questions lol). She emailed me some meal plans and I was really skeptical if she could make low cal meals that sounded as good as they did on the menus. Well, I went ahead and bit the bullet because I was too busy to keep up with Weight Watcher and I was really happy with the results. She made complimentary snacks and meals for my toddler and the food was great and easy to reheat. I used her for a month and broke the plateau I was on. That month I lost about 9 pounds and have kept it off since. I can't afford the year round chef services but that month was by far worth it. If I can ever budget to hire her on a regular basis I would do it without any hesitation.

I first heard of Michelle through a friend who used her services for her Birthday pool party/bbq I hired Michelle for a party I was having for a 15 people. She came to my home, sat down with me and went over menu choices and detail on how she preps and serves the food. She made sure I was happy and even let me change some things on the menu. On the day of the party she arrived early with groceries and a rolling kit of kitchen equip. She spent about 2 hours getting the food ready and presenting it on around my home. The trays and way that she set up looked really nice and high end. When guest began arriving, she had already cleaned up the kitchen and went over details on the specific items that were laid out and how to not cross contaminate (some items were gluten free b/c my husband is gluten sensitive). I am already thinking of the Christmas Party my husband and I host every year for his colloeagues. I think we'll use Sweet Thyme for that event.
I was introduced to Chef Michelle through a mutual friend about 2 months ago. During that time I was planning my wife and I's anniversary date. Me and my wife love are def foodies so I thought hiring a personal chef would make an interesting night. I hired her just for some appetizers and wine (we were going out to Azuca for salsa later that night).. when I said Spanish tapas, I figured I'd get some Manchego and olives...nope. She took the time to make a full spread of hot and cold tapas that were restaurant quality. I loved her fried goat cheese with spiced honey... and the lamb meatballs she made, so good.... Ok so, needless to say great night with the wife. We were super impressed and def plan on hiring her again in the future. Would recommend if you're looking for something diff from the usual night out.
