St. Gregory the Great Catholic School is an amazing school. The factuly are invested in their student's success and really care about their well being! They have on average 14 years of experience teaching children. The administration and staff from the Principal to the school nurse are caring and professional. Walking into the front office you are almost always greeted with a genuinely warm and welcoming smile! Academically SGS offers a very comprhensive and challenging curriculum. The school offers honors classes for the upper units and tutoring for those student with special acadmeic needs. SGS offers interesting core class options including yoga! SGS is one of the few schools to begin teaching a secondary language (Spanish), and computer science to the pre-kinder classes! Extra-curricular activites are incredibly diverse! Athletically the school has the usual list of sports for both boys and girls organized by a dedicated coaching staff. SGS also offers a wide range of clubs from Drama Club to Irish Dancing! The school truly enriches the students both in and out of the classroom. As a former student of St. Gregory the Great, I can honestly say that some of my best experiences in eduction happened while attending SGS. While I am no longer a student, I remain a parishoner of the St. Gregory Parish and have had the opportunity to watch the school grow and continue to blossom. St. Gregory the Great School is the best choice for a holisitc education that will education your son or daughter both morally and academically!!!

The title says it all. I met with Dr Walter Root after not having seen a Doctor in quite some time. I was not feeling very well at all, and Dr Root sorted me out in a very "down to earth", empathetic way. It was just what I was looking for. Even when I had some questions for the Dr, right after I switched meds, he was quick to respond to my voice mail that I left for him. So that's the good part. The bad part is that you must deal with the front office staff in order to see the Dr. I don't know what the deal is about getting in to see a Psychiatrist, but the wait is downright painful. I called in July and was told the nearest "1st consultation" wasn't available until September. Thank goodness I wasn't any more on edge than I was. I was lucky enough to find a slot that someone had vacated the day I called. That appointment was for 2 weeks out. Having lack of a choice, I jumped at the chance. At any rate, if you can negotiate the front office staff hurdles, you might be in good shape. So my actual review is Dr Walter Root: 5 Stars front office staff: Well, if you cannot say anything nice about someone, it's best left unsaid. You do the math. Good luck!
5 years ago ,my family and I were searching for a a Parish Church to go to. We visited several churches before we settle in to one. Since Padre Pio Church was not built then, masses has been held in different elementary schools. I did not mind that the masses are held in these facilities because I was so impressed with the hospitality of the Parishioners especially the ushers. We felt at home right away.I love the choir and the songs they sing. But most of all I always love to hear what Msgr Pat has to say. It helps me meditate and reflect. The only thing I don't like much was the fact that everytime I offer mass for someone, there's no cards to give to the recipient. However, the secretary has been very good in making sure that the recipient of the mass is notified thru e-mail.
