Mr. Fawkes, I am reaching out to you to address your concerns about ABA Center for Excellence. When I read your review I was disheartened and would like to communicate with you so that your concerns are addressed. We exist to serve our community and I'm saddened to hear that you felt the need to post your concerns in this form. I wish to have the opportunity to address your concerns. I'm disheartened by this review as we pride ourselves on our strict adherence to our "conduct guidelines" spelled out by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) as well as our own ethical guidelines. All of our therapists are screened very carefully before we hire them. They are required to answer questions about ethical dilemmas, they have extensive background checks conducted, and are provided with one month of intensive training and weekly trainings for the course of their internship, which is usually one year in duration. Additionally, we check in on families routinely to assess their satisfaction with our services. We typically get positive feedback from our families and follow up if they have had any concerns. We train our therapists on how to dress in a manner that is respectful to their clients as we understand that our clients have a wide range of values and emphasize being respectful of those values when we are in their homes. If we had any indication that one of our therapists behaved in a manner that is not therapeutic, we would take immediate corrective action. We do not tolerate unethical behavior from our therapists. Our billing department is also trained in helping our clients access resources and to work with them in a flexible manner. I am a mother and have been denied services to my child in the past due to insufficient funds and I feel obligated to provide services to people regardless of their financial situation. In fact, a large percentage of our clients receive services through scholarships and grants to which we have applied. We travel to remote areas and work with anybody that would benefit from our services. I am saddened that you have had a bad experience with us and I am reaching out to you to see what we can do to address your concerns. Please feel free to call us at 210-685-2266. Thank you,
I have been in powered wheelchairs/scooters for around a decade or more. Having been a commercial helicopter pilot with lots of experience and a working brain, though not as good as it used to be, I speak from experience, the woods are the most trustworthy, honest, and knowledgeable people I have ever dealt with. I currently own and routily use a Hurricane scooter which I purchased from Wood medical Supply. I have new batteries, maintenance, and question taken care of with the Woods. I have had a very great association with the Woods and strongly suggest use of this company.
Champs has excellent sales associates that know their braces, compression stockings, mastectomy products and CPAP machines and supplies. They also go the extra step to measure you, what most other stores don't. They also repair on the spot instead of taking a month or longer on walkers. They guarantee the work as long as it is not due to negligence or abuse. They are great and are very knowledgeable about medical equipment and supplies.
