i would go to ali babas all the time to get my middle eastern groceries the owner was always nice and helpful........ until i had some cuff links on my shirt that said shalom he asked do you know what that says and i said yes after that the attitude changed . i admit i was saddened by this because i am an american first where the only color i recognize is red white and blue! he now avoids me like the plague! i really like to go here but i rarely do now i am sorry for what is happening in the middle east and when 911 happened i called to see if they were targeted at there store, because america IS about diversity. i do wish them the best because there store is a gem!
In living in san antonio culture is very limited. This store as I had happen to find it in a little corner with eveyrthing that is surrounding is a jewel. The store is very clean, stocked, and good customer service. I would recommend this to anybody who misses Indian or arabic food.
Yes this place is great! San Antonio needs more grocery stores like Whole Foods Market. It's a little pricey but you get what you pay for...quality gourmet food and organic produce. I like some of their pre-made selections, too. I would highly recommend people shop at this store...invest in your…

I love this store! If you have special dietary needs or just want healthier foods they've got it all! For a small store they pack a big punch in having everything from gluten free products to organic foods to personal care. Their prices are very competitive and if they don't have a particular pr…
18. Korean Market
I would just like to say that this is one of the best little shops I have ever been to. They really take to heart all of the old fashion morals in business: be kind to the customers, smile out of kindness, shows interest in their customers lives, remembers you each time you go back. . . I mean…
25. Central Market
Love this market! Gourmet food and great, helpful staff. As much as I really like Whole Foods market as well, the staff at Central Market are definitely more pleasant, really helpful and super professional. I like how they have themed events. Last time I went in there they had performances going…
This is definitely one of the greatest stores in San Antonio, they have a large variety of Asian, European, and Middle Eastern foods, most of it is imported. They have everything from Russian tea and British chocolates, to Japanese shrimp chips and Turkish crackers. They also have a small select…
I like the Culebra food market, because of the prices of their meat. But I have recently been told by a customer of mine at my store VAT he will never eat any of them meet at their store. I asked him why, he said that they were on the news about a couple years ago. He saidthat their meat is not …
I enjoy having this grocery store at this very convenient location. Having one built somewhere near or on 211 (between 1604 and Castorville) would be wonderful .The annoys us is always having to bag our own groceries. We sometimes see supers, managers, associates, walking around when the cashier may be backed up and the customer has to step in and bag their own groceries. There are also times when the cashier is talking to another co-worker instead of concentrating on what they are doing or just making the customer feel comfortable by just being friendly. Honestly, bagging our own groceries is not very appealing to my husband at all.
I went here with friends from work during our lunch break. The staff is very friendly and appeared genuinely concerned that we enjoyed or visit. I liked the variety of hot dogs available and I especially liked the condiment bar and all the different types of mustards. There’s not a lot of seating inside but we got there early, 11:15, and there was no problem finding a place to sit. I’m not sure if they have a crowding problem or not. It was not crowded by the time we left. (11:45) My only complaint is the limited amount of parking.
Just had lunch at Kings Ct. and it was great! The price is right and the portions large. The fat boy weiner is truly huge! I had The Alamo dog and hand cut fries and it was very tasty. Another plus is that they have such a wide selection of toppings...and they don't charge extra for them. I was able to load up my dog with jalapenos, relish, onions and my choice of about 15 mustards, without incurring an additional charge. I will definitely be back to try out a few more dogs.
I live just down the street. Walmart has more inventory and cheaper prices, but it takes less time to go to La Fiesta. They have some decent deals, but prices and selection are very limited. However, I must comment that when I come into the store I am greeted with a smile and treated very well by employees. I am never worried about walking back to my vehicle, even though I live in a high end crime area. AI really like my La Fiesta!!
Love this market! Gourmet food and great, helpful staff. As much as I really like Whole Foods market as well, the staff at Central Market are definitely more pleasant, really helpful and super professional. I like how they have themed events. Last time I went in there they had performances going on in their cafe area and all of the food samples were of the same theme. Their selection of wine and cheese is the best!
Yes this place is great! San Antonio needs more grocery stores like Whole Foods Market. It's a little pricey but you get what you pay for...quality gourmet food and organic produce. I like some of their pre-made selections, too. I would highly recommend people shop at this store...invest in your health...it's one of the best things to spend your money on...it's at the Quarry Market.
The store area is great, super! Good selections and varieties on groceries and products. The pharmacy is Worse Than Horrible! Beside the clerks not even knowing what they're doing and being extremely ill-mannered and openly rude, expect to be there waiting a good while whether there's a line or even if you happen to be the only one there.
This is the best store in San Antonio. From Cleanliness to friendliness, nothing can compare! Yes this store stays busy unless you wish to shop at 6am when very few are there! The store remains busy as a testimony to it's management from the store to the Meat market to the Pharmacy, this team is what professionalism really means!
Perfect store for those who looking international market and home maker spices . Different variety product from east Africa like eritrea , Ethiopia ,Somalia Sudan , and Middle East .
