Raging Waters

After reading some of the reviews, I agree on some things, and disagree on others.



When you first come into the park, it seems very run-down and non-family friendly. DON'T let it fool you. Once you get past the front gate (and the lockers rooms, which do need some MAJOR help), the rest of the park was very fun. There was a lot to do for all ages: Big slides for the daring, and small stuff for the kids. The customers in the park were very nice and everyone seemed to respect everyone else. I didn't really see any "thug" type of activity.



Is it worth the money? I would say that if you are a small family, or a couple that the price would be fine for what you get. If you are a large family or group, use the money to go elsewhere.



HINT for anyone going - almost all the tube-rides take an intertube to go down them. The park has free yellow tubes (about 10 or so) at the bottom of each ride that you can take up for free, or you can pay like 5 bucks to rent your own tube for the day. RENT YOUR OWN TUBE!!! We started the day just trying to keep the costs down and do the "free tube" just like everyone else. The problem is we ended up waiting so long to even GET a yellow tube because they were all being used. "lets stand in a line for a free intertube, then go stand in line to go back down the tube, then give the tube to somebody else, and get back in line for the tube again" Not fun. Save yourself the headache and pay the 5 bucks.



Overall: I would come back to this waterpark. It would be a nice time-filler (about 3-5 hours) if you need something fun to do for a decent price for a waterpark.
