Dogs Dig It!
Mon - Fri 6:30 am - 7:00 pm, Sat - Sun 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
General Info:
At Diggity Dog Resort we offer the finest in daycare, boarding, and grooming services. We believe your dog deserves an activity center, not a containment center. We recognize that staying away from home can be a strain on your dog, so our goal is to make each one feel "at home." Our facility is 8000 sq ft of open space for your dog to roam and play. The dogs are only kenneled during cleaning, feeding, and sleeping times. The rest of the time they are allowed to have a good time socializing with the other dogs. At the end of the day your dog will be ready to settle down for a goods night sleep in our climate controlled facility. We offer discount passes for our daycare service as well as a multiple dog discount. We also offer walking services and bathing services that you can take advantage of while you are away. It's always nicer to come home to a clean healthy looking dog. We also have a groomer on staff who will trim your dog to your specifications. We look forward to seeing you at Diggity Dog Resort.

My experience with Diggity Dog was an interesting one and not so positive. My dog is very hyper and he wines when he is excited, it can be really annoying. I dropped him off at Diggity Dog and like always he runs around crazy and wines for the first little bit, but he is very social to people and dogs. Later, same day I get a phone call from Amy (Friendly/Professional front end gal) saying that my dog is not getting along with other dogs and cut himself when they put him in time out. For the dogs safety they wanted me to come pick him up. I show up greeted by Amy, she explains the situation and I tell her it’s very uncharacteristic of him to act like that. There is another dog that is already in the lobby and my dog comes out with the dog supervisor tech behind him. She starts off by telling me I need to work on my dogs socializing skills. I explain to her he goes to different pet resorts all the time because we travel a lot, we watch him on web cams having a blast and being his vocal happy self. I also explain german shepherds are vocal by nature and should not be taken as a sign of aggression, I say this as my dog is getting along super well with the other dog in the lobby. I must have set a fire with the dog supervisor tech because she got very hostile and when Amy tried to calm her down and take her to the back she began pushing Amy and swearing at her. Amy tried to apologize but I was so mad I just stormed out with my dog and bag of dog food. Let’s talk a little bit about my bag of dog food. I separated his meals so a zip lock bag in the morning a zip lock bag at night (easy right). Amy asked before I dropped him off if he has eaten, my answer was yes. After storming off I look at the dog food, 2 zip lock bags were missing meaning they fed him 2 extra meals after I had already fed him 3 hours earlier that morning. Michelle (An owner) calls me up apologizing, I appreciated her professionalism. She explains she fired the dog supervisor tech, which made me happy for all the other dogs that wouldn’t be watch by her short tempered self. Moral of the story is to run a dog facility such as this you need to hire the right people, customers are trusting you to have employees that understand dog behaviors and show your dog proper care and respect. Vent over, this might be an okay establishment but this one experience ruined it for me.

Horrible place!!! I have never had my dogs treated this bad!!! I treat my dogs like my kids and only take them to places that to don't crate & separate my dogs while they are getting their hair done. I was assured a number of times when I went into this facility to check everything out & talk to the groomer. She answered all of my questions perfect! I was really excited to take them there I made the appt. & told my husband that I think this place is going to be great! when we showed up to drop my dogs off the person at the front desk was rude and very short with us. I was told when I came in that they could play with the other dogs until the groomer got there well she said they couldn't unless we had their shot records I then informed her that I had brought the records in when we set the apt up & filled out the paperwork. she said there was nothing there so they couldn't go in, the next words she said was they wouldn't be allowed to play b/c the groomer doesn't like the dogs socializing before being groomed b/c they are too wild. We were running late at this point & my one dog really did need groomed so we left them there. Worst mistake of my life! my mother picked them up & found they had been in kenneled in the morning & after they were groomed which I was told WOULD NOT happen. my mom had to get back to work so she paid the groomer tried to give my dogs a treat & they dropped it on the floor which my dogs would never ever turn a treat down they live for them. When my mom looked at the price they charged me more than what I was told I would be charged and when they were questioned about they said well your one dog that we washed & cut her nails needed 2 baths ( I never agreed to have her give her 2 baths & charge me more) then my other dog that needed groomed she said she had to charge more b/c she needed to give her medication! I never received a call about needing to give my dog medication how can you give medication to a dog if you don't ask permission & don't know her medical history? When my mom called and told me what happened I left work & ran home my dogs were a mess!!! they were crying & shaking and it took me a whole night to calm them down. If you love your dogs DO NOT take them to this horrible place!!!

The staff is always very friendly

We are so glad that we have a place that we can drop our dog off and not worry about him. The staff is always very friendly and seem happy to see our dog when we drop him off. Our dog can't wait to get out of the car and go in when we pull up.
